I hope the 76ers win the lottery just to embarrass the League.

Did he make money? Then it was a great success. For him. Too bad for the rest of the suckers that filled his pockets.

And meanwhile the damn Celtics can't catch a break. They slide down to tied for 4th worst record, then lose the coin flip to slide down to 5th. At least the Nets did worse than they should have and the Celtics also have their pick at 17.

Oh, and the obligatory:

People still care about the NBA?

A 63 loss baseball season would be excellent. Basketball? Not so much.

Maybe you fans will find a more caring owner to run the team.
Maybe Black Mesa.
THAT WAS A JOKE.
HAHA. FAT CHANCE!

He has a team to run.
There is more marketing to be done.
On the 76ers fans who are still alive.

Well, compared to the Bucks...

You have to pardon the owner of the Philadelphia 76ers; he's actually a New Yorker and you know how delusional those people are.

Well it probably was. They're going to get a good pick in this probably well overhyped draft class. They a chance to let MCW play huge minutes so he could develop and lock up Rookie of the Year. They ditched most of their assets so they have an insane amount of cap space moving forward. Probably another painful year or two ahead, but the rebuilding is going well so far.

I would believe the team was coached by GLaDOS this season.

Please, they are such complete losers, they couldn't even win the best loser competition, coming in second. Sell the Sixers and concentrate on the Devils, you know that's where you want to be anyway.

Isn't the usual rule: Buy a franchise, get a franchise player? In that case, wouldn't the Bucks get the top pick*

Offer void in Sacramento.

If the Sixers get a franchise player out of this, then I'll call this season a success.  Creative destruction.  And, most Sixers fans I know completely supported tanking this season, so the fan base probably agrees with the move.

The Sixers still have a fanbase?

Anyways, great ending shaping up between GS and LA.

Not on your life.

Go Warriors. Don't think we can win the series w/o our starting center. I expect Griffin  and Jordan all day next game.

Wasn't that successful.... they had a 26 game losing streak and still couldn't be the worst team in the league.

I'm a season ticket holder for,the sixers and it was a success. Just sort of depends on how you define it. I enjoyed almost every game. They developed some young talent and have a plan for the future. Compare to last years exercise in misery this was a wonderful season.

Sixers have TWO lottery picks this year. Plus Noel should be full strength next year. And the massive cap space. They could end up drafting Parker and Randle, and have young potential all stars at 4 positions. AND they could still offer Melo a max contract.

So yeah, they'll be all right.

A lot of tickets were going for $4, but I could not rouse myself to travel 25 miles east into that shiathole if you paid me.

Yes, it's a great success to have people calling your team the 26ers. Top notch job, Philly.
