Mark this moment.

An away penaltie at Stamford Bridge. That is the rarest sight you will see

I love watching a coach whose job is in danger coming completely uncoonted

ADubs86: I believe that this may be Jose's first loss at home as Chelsea manager if it stands.

It is.

dietbubba: a) OMG
b) What happened in the first half?  They mentioned a raised hand by Ramirez (I think it was)

The first half thing was Ramires using his forearm to hit a Sunderland player in the face and getting away with it.

2014-04-19 02:15:03 PM
Agent Torres is doing his part by failing utterly to score.

2014-04-19 02:16:23 PM
Thank you Brighton for doing the dumbest thing ever and firing Gus Poyet so we can get this moment.

2014-04-19 02:16:26 PM
Jose might come unglued if he loses his first Chelsea home match, to lose the title, to the bottom club.

2014-04-19 02:16:32 PM
How much Jose time we gonna see?

2014-04-19 02:17:58 PM
We've got Jose Time in play. 5 minutes.

2014-04-19 02:19:07 PM
5 Minutes Mourinho time

2014-04-19 02:19:25 PM
Torres gives away a foul and gets himself carded, wasting more time. All according to plan.

Can we give Assaidi and Borini winner's medals? They've earned them this year.

2014-04-19 02:21:11 PM
Gus Poyet might blow his vocal chords here.

2014-04-19 02:21:21 PM
Well it looks like only one team actually wants to win the title this year.

That sound you are hearing is Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal choking.

Someone needs to record Jose's press interview.

2014-04-19 02:24:55 PM
Mourinho's streak just got broken so hard I wonder if Gus Poyet was Paul Heyman in disguise.

2014-04-19 02:24:56 PM
err...*land. Whatever.

More importantly, haha Mourinho.

Liverpool: 77 points, 4 games to play.  Home against Chelsea/Newcastle.  Away against Norwich/Crystal Palace
Chelsea: 75 points, 3 games to play.  Home against Norwich, Away against Liverpool/Cardiff
Man City: 71 points, 5 games to play.  Home against West Brom/Aston Villa/West Ham, Away against Everton/Crystal Palace

City has 3 Goal Differential on Liverpool, which could come into play if Chelsea beats Liverpool.

Advantage Liverpool.

Win tomorrow, win v. Chelsea next week, the title is theirs.

Bonus Wizard prediction:  Gerrard scores the winner late v. Chelsea to clinch the league.

That would happen if he scored at the Kop end. :D

Jose's too pissed to think.

I do love how he blames the league for making the schedule work against him. It's like part of Fergie lives on.

2014-04-19 02:39:57 PM
I just realized: Sunderland got the double on Chelsea.

+20 overall for the day.  After 2 weeks in a row of Sunderland blowing up my banker I think it's best I just avoid betting against them for the rest of the season.

In the bad sense. In the good sense, most of Liverpool's fans tomorrow night if they beat Norwich.

Jose slagging the refs. Enjoy your fine Mou.

2014-04-19 02:43:09 PM
Seriously, I'm supposed to be doing yard work today but came back just to see this thread. Seeing Mou have his streak broken by Sunderland is so orgasmic, I may need to have a celebratory post-coital cigarette, and I don't even smoke.

After an incredibly long run, my BB streak is now over.  Oh well, Chelsea losing is funny.

Not necessarily, If City run the table, we'd still need another 4 points from Palace/Newcastle to clinch, if I'm doing my math right.

+25 for the day despite missing five out of six predictions.  Thank you Tottenham banker.

I decided to take a risk and go for a x3. I picked WH winning againt CP. Doh! Second choice was MCFC Vs WBA.

The Swansea penalty in the last minute made a 40pt difference for me. Dangnabbit.

So I had to run out and get some errands done today and decided to do that during the Chelsea match so I wouldn't miss any playoff hockey. As soon as I get in the car at my last stop, I turn on the satellite radio to the SiriusXM soccer channel and hear the full time score of Chelsea 1, Sunderland 2. It took me 3 minutes to comprehend those words and then I just started laughing my ass off. I can not wait to watch the highlights tonight, especially knowing that it was Fabio Borini doing the deed for Sunderland and for Liverpool (and maybe for most of England). Can we have Borini knighted?

Torres was a big pile of nothing and Borini scored the winning goal. If Liverpool beats Norwich tomorrow and Everton beat Manchester United, the city could conceivably run out of beer.
