SomebodyElsesShoes: It's always looked to me like the roof at the St. James was designed with the expectation that the sun would never shine in Newcastle.  It's very hard to  see with all the shadows.

I was noticing that earlier. Very poor design there.

Princip's Sandwich: desertgeek: I hate bitaching about fantasy sports, but I have to vent here...

My fantasy EPL team had 6 players on it either likely or definitely out due to injury or suspension this week. So I made two transfers (incurring a points penalty) just so I had some players.

Then I find out just now that Cech is out today due to a virus and he's my keeper. WTF!?

It's not your day.

Most days aren't, if we're honest.

desertgeek: I'm realizing this morning that mediocre football is not my cup of tea 1st thing in the morning. I'm officially dragging here.

Also, I see that the Norwich-Liverpool match starts at 4am my time tomorrow. Chances of me being awake for that - pretty much nil.

It's brutal. Even if you get up, the bars don't serve until 6 anyway. I hate noon kickoffs.

Try not until 11 AM here in Louisville. I hate the people in out City Council so much.

In Lexington you can go to Winchell's at 8am on Saturdays and get served booze. Plus 25+ tvs. Sundays they serve booze at 11am.

Did anyone get a pregame for Chelsea on tv? All I got was lazy town till right at the second for kick off then it went to the game.

2014-04-19 12:42:23 PM
It's not going to be a fairytale ending for Sunderland, is it?

2014-04-19 12:42:32 PM
Well it's pretty obvious that was coming.

2014-04-19 12:46:28 PM
Poor Sunderland.

I really don't know if I can wake up for the 4:00am local kickoff time tomorrow of NOR v LIV. I get up at 5am most weekdays to jog before work as it is and I really didn't sleep well last night. God damn it.

2014-04-19 12:47:52 PM
Whoa...we're level.

2014-04-19 12:48:06 PM
WOOOOO!!

2014-04-19 12:48:15 PM
Sunderland equalizes?!

2014-04-19 12:48:17 PM
C'mon Miracle Boys!

2014-04-19 12:49:15 PM
And it's Wickham again. He had all of 1 PL goal before this week. Now he's had 3 in the past few days.

2014-04-19 01:06:48 PM
If Sunderland and West Brom pulled off miracle draws this week, I'd just about shiat myself.

Almost 40 minutes down and it's just dawned on me it's THAT Mark Schwarzer for Chelski in goal today. Thought he retired by now.

Sunderland!

That's how I feel every time I see Wes Brown's name.

Sunderland barely hanging on.

There's a few old farts kicking around in this game. And nice job by Ramires or whomever that was heading a ball wide of an open goddamn net.

2014-04-19 01:14:45 PM
Seb Larson? Defending?

I've seen it all.

2014-04-19 01:14:58 PM
Hey, it's Chelsea getting away with a red-card offence at Stamford Bridge.

Nah your shiatting me, Chelsea never get away with anythign at the Bridge.

The last five minutes of that half was total mayhem. And Adam Johnson is an idiot for trying to get cute after being gifted an opportunity there.

Both teams have handbags at the ready. If this game finished with 23 people on the pitch i will be supprised

Point of order. Does Cattermole count as people?

Still no Mathieu Flamini or Pepe.

How great would it be if Torres dropped an OG, killing Chelsea's hopes

2014-04-19 02:07:07 PM
Mourinho must be content with the draw if Torres is there.

2014-04-19 02:08:07 PM
That was a dumbass move right there

dietbubba: How great would it be if Torres dropped an OG, killing Chelsea's hopes

It'd reveal the long plan that Liverpool made with him: Torres is a double agent, draining Chelsea of funds, revealing his true colors when he sabotages Chelsea in order to give Liverpool the title.

2014-04-19 02:09:02 PM
Miracle Boys! Sunderland can do this.

2014-04-19 02:09:07 PM
Thank you Borini.

Assistant coach forgot his meds this morning.

2014-04-19 02:11:42 PM
Isn't there a rule against stopping your run-up? That looked dangerously close to being against the rules there.

2014-04-19 02:12:03 PM
Yes!  Agent Borini with a pretty terrible penalty but it did the important part and crossed the line.

2014-04-19 02:12:25 PM
I believe that this may be Jose's first loss at home as Chelsea manager if it stands.

2014-04-19 02:12:45 PM
a) OMG
b) What happened in the first half?  They mentioned a raised hand by Ramirez (I think it was)
