Late night hockey, early morning footie...this is going to be a rough few weeks.

FFPL report to follow for the main batch of games.

2014-04-19 07:42:14 AM
And don't forget the race to avoid Europa League purgatory. Come on you Spurs!

2014-04-19 07:44:30 AM
Supposedly Diego Costa has already agreed to a contract with Chelsea. With Chelsea's recent track record with expensive strikers, how long do you think it'll take before they'll ruin him?

Wing Commander Parker has been shot down.

God bless Jason Puncheon

Today is Record Store Day also and the only reason I"m up early.  I'm spending entirely way too much money on records and will try to ignore it by watching soccer.

Fulham has been the better side this half. Quite a change from their midseason collapses.

2014-04-19 08:20:47 AM
Bad defending on that free-kick. Left Paulinho completely open.

2014-04-19 08:22:26 AM
Morning chaps!
PAULINHO!
SIDWELL!

Well that was a fun 2 minutes.

2014-04-19 08:23:04 AM
Fulham didn't lie down for once. Nice.

2014-04-19 08:23:29 AM
Banker on Spurs today. Feeling as if I am going to regret it.

Liam "Billy" Whelan played four times for Ireland and scored 52 goals in 98 games for Manchester United. He was 22 years old when he died in the Munich disaster.

A few years ago a bridge in Dublin was renamed in his honour, near where he was born and where his family (including his brother) still live.

On Monday afternoon, this happened:

On Monday evening, Bohemians FC fans covered it up:

On Tuesday, the graffiti had been removed and fans started leaving jerseys:

Spurs fans already packing it in? WHL is awfully quiet.

2014-04-19 08:40:47 AM
I had this as a 2-1 Spurs win. Thankfully, I resisted the temptation of banking on this match.

2014-04-19 08:50:29 AM
Well, that was nifty.

There's the collapsing Fulham we know.

I was a mess yesterday. But I did learn one important and very valuable lesson: if three drinking buddies from high school want to connect and hang out and get lit up on a weeknight, the guys that are either divorced or still single have a whole lot more time for recreational drinking. I was the only married guy of the group and whatever competition there may have been, I surely lost.

I'm still a bit bleary today, but at least I'm functional.

Fulham can't defend free kicks.

2014-04-19 09:04:06 AM
Fulham marking on free kicks is woeful, today.

Early on in the season, someone pointed out his hair looked like he was a WWI flying ace. I think it was midpoint.

No, Fulham being only 3 points behind us and the drop zone

That's really strange, because after I posted it I poked around on Google and managed to find this

Just the picture alone made me laugh.

I want to know who made that picture.

Whoever would deface a memorial like that is an asshole. It's good to see that the support overwhelmed the idiot that did it.

MIGHTY Oxford United lost 1-0 to York City last night, dropping back out of the play off places.

2014-04-19 09:50:16 AM
Well I missed most of that match.  Someone may have had a drink or three too many last night watching hockey

Looks like West Ham vs Crystal Palace is the best looking 10am game. What are you going to be watching?

Come on MIGHTY ones!

Started off this morning with a perfect. Shame I didn't use my banker on it, but Tottenham has had a lot of mixed performances lately and I don't entirely trust them to perform consistently.

I'm watching on TV, and they're showing Cardiff/Stoke, so I'm catching that one by default.

I don't have cable tv. I think the Chelsea game is on NBC so I can catch that game on my tv.

Michu misses another match with a swollen ankle. This has been a forgettable season for him.

Did Luke Shaw sign a contract extension yet or is he gone at season end?
