Regarding the "Duke Sucks"; it's better to be noted and hated, then to be totally ignored. C'mon, when the last time anyone mentioned that the University of Vermont's sports teams suck ? I doubt that Vermont even has any colleges, they just give all the 18 year old men a deer rifle, orange jacket and a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon. And they give the women flannel jackets.

Can anyone clarify what the actual foul was on UNC that took place a few minutes or so before the end of the first half? A UNC player missed a layup, and a teammate went for the assist, dunked the ball, but no points were given. (I think the score was around 49 to 49 when this happened). The commentators said something about 'you can't play with the ball'. What did he do wrong?

UNC could have easily won, but almost every other trip down the floor was an offensive nightmare, where they'd take 4 shots, get the rebound, but put no points up on the board. When they had Duke down 7, they shouldn't have let them back in. They also shouldn't have let Duhon waltz down the floor and score with 6 seconds left in OT. But whatcha gonna do. Duke will always suck in my book.

Ahhhh...the pure joy of victory. In December I got to go to Cameron Indoor Stadium for the first time to watch my favorite team play at home. Now to see them take out UNC at the Dean Dome....what a great year already. Simply beautiful.

It's all because of the Roy Williams curse. I'm glad you're gone Roy. I can't wait when 2 to 3 years from now UNC loses to KU and the headlines will read "Williams loses to Self"

Well, as a c/o 2004 Dukie, I gotta say: that game was sofaking intense! I'm a little hoarse now from yelling at the tv with my friends. And to whomever said it: yes, the Duke sucks thing got old *long* ago.

The best part was just after the game ended, a big Duke fan in the stands started punching this Carolina fan who was wearing one of those big blue wigs. Blue wig guy's wig went flying and he ended up on his ass in a seat. Everybody starting booing the Duke fan, and then several cops arrived and cuffed him and escorted him out.
