"They make no mark on soft ground, but leave prints in stone, and are frequently accompanied by the smell of burned sulfur"

I have two of my own, younger, but I'm all ready dreading the inevitable 10 years from now.

Wardell Armstrong Archaeology was brought in to dig at a site where a construction company plans to build student housing.

I would love to live in a dorm haunted by an ancient Roman ghost puppy.

Next to tiles stating "romanes eunt domus," no doubt.

/ I think that was the line. Haven't seen the movie in ages.

If he would have scratched it maybe we could play it back like a record and hear the past.

It'd probably sound like, "scratch".

As someone with a blind, almost-11 year-old basset hound, I am not eager for her last footprints either. So to the bastard who had to post Fry's dog, go find something fluffy to hug. Jebus.

Why thank you, kind sir! The filter pwnage takes something off it though.

Love my Bully, snoring droolbeast bed hog that he is.

In the entryway of my house, we actually have tiles with dog pawprints. They're made in Mexico, naturally colored in shades of dull pink and light yellow, nice durable stuff....and the occasional pawprint is the best thing about it. It's why we picked it, IIRC. And we very carefully placed the ones with prints throughout the room when we were installing the tile. (And at the time we got it, we had a dog with paws about the right size to have made the prints, too. RIP, Kona.)

So I'm, you know, getting a kick out of this. And envisioning future archeologists digging up our house, and saying, "look at these tiles!" and then posting holographs of them to the global brainnet.
