Google+ strikes again!

Seriously though he must of really pissed someone off.  There is no way anyone is stupid enough for this to be like it sounds.  They gotta be just finding some loophole to nail him for.  At least I hope.

"Schmidt believes the school is acting not to protect students from potential threats, but to retaliate against him. A week before being placed on leave, Schmidt filed a grievance against the school because he was passed up for a sabbatical."

Yep.

No.  But it is the inspiration for South Park's "penis" song.

Inexplicably, Miller claimed that he believed the "fire" described in Daenerys' quote "could be a kind of proxy for AK-47s."

The nice thing about "zero tolerance" is that you can use it as a blanket excuse when you want to avoid admitting exactly what it is you don't tolerate

James R. Miller

Executive Director of Human Resources

Mr. Miller joined Bergen as Director of Human Resources in 2007 after working for other institutions of higher education and private companies including the City College of New York and the Philips Electronics Corp. He earned a B.A. in economics and an M.A. in Student Counseling and Psychology from Jersey City State University

Just goes to show that getting a secondary education doesn't necessarily make you smart.

Jim Miller is a contact of Schmidt's on Google+, so Miller automatically received an email from Google when Schmidt posted on Google+.

what are all these people doing on Google+?

I'm not familiar with that exact quote.. (I'm still early in the 2nd season)  but words on a t-shirt worn by a teacher's kid in a picture?

Yeah, something else must be going on.

Okay that's just totally stupid and the school is gonna ls going to regret  its actions seriously google the damn quote from the shirt.

I am willing to bet just about any quote from the show thats good enough to get slapped on  t-shirt has been analyzed six ways from sunday by the fans and posted about on any number of message boards.

Its obvious the school was looking to retaliate over the grievance he filed and seriously they screwed up back in picking what to use for said retaliation.

This past January, Francis Schmidt, a BCC professor, was forced to go on leave and undergo a psychiatric evaluation--just for posting a picture on Google+

Well ... yeah.  If you use google+ it's either because you're paid to or you have an undiagnosed mental illness.  What's the problem here - the college was just trying to help him!

I own a Saiga AK. It's a very versatile firearm, but even it cannot reliably fire fabric.

And "Keep Calm and Carry On" started with the British as a message to civilians when WWII kicked off. The first draft "Bugger Off Hitler, It's Spotted Dick Night" was rejected

It comes from a British WWII propaganda poster, I believe it was "Keep calm and use a lot of lube".

OP asked about the T-shirts, not the saying. If anyone is spreading it, it's those farkers at the chive. These guys may have dug out the poster, and done some marketing, but the rabid spread is from those other folks. They have everything.

They're off thuggin' the junior faculty, of course. It's gotten so bad on my campus that I have to mace a few union reps just to get into my office as they hurl epithets while attempting to jack me for some due$

What is the greatest threat is not to free speech, it is that someone that stupid is allowed to have power of any kind.  If a fast food manager was that stupid, people would die of food poisoning.  The person who decided this needs to be placed in a mental institution and kept away from innocent people.

It looks to me as if it is an adult sized shirt. It may be that she has never seen the show. Probably just likes wearing daddy's (or mommy's or big brother's) t-shirts.

Judging how over-sized it is on her, it's her father's shirt and he gave it to her to wear.

Next question.

Bergen Community College spokesman Larry Hlavenka Jr. gave an official statement on the suspension:
"The referenced incident refers to a private personnel matter at Bergen Community College. Since January 1, 2014, 34 incidents of school shootings have occurred in the United States. In following its safety and security procedures, the college investigates all situations where a member of its community - students, faculty, staff or local residents - expresses a safety or security concern."

Come on...someone PLEASE tell me that this is an April fool's joke that the media just now picked up and trolled.
