$37 $50 or $58 for a ticket, maybe they over estimated how much their fans make.

Yep, they'll just have to go back to what they did before reality TV making bird calls and going on tours and selling merchandise and eke out a comfortable living while all of those critics move their bile onto the next reality TV series that dares to have characters with Christian values.

THAT'LL TEACH THEM!

Can't sell tickets in Springfield, MO?  That's the closest city of any real size to Branson, and the most 'conservative' part of the state.

The market finds christian values repugnant.

I wasn't aware that explicitly comparing vaginas to anuses or denying the existence of racism and Jim Crow in the 60s were Christian values.

And headquarters of Bass Pro Shop and the NRA National Sporting Arms museum. You'd think their fans would make a polgrimage to hit all that American goodness.

That's the thing that strikes me too.   The decline in ratings of their TV show isn't surprising because that's the life cycle of these shows, but not being able to sell tickets in the middle of Jesus' Murica is another thing entirely.

Tickets are 30-58 bucks plus fees.   Median income in that county is just over 38k a year.

Oh trust me, they still have rabid fans here, but $58 for nosebleed seats in a 10,000 seat arena is beyond fandom prices.

Silly person. You don't need to actually READ the bible to know how Christ feels about homosexuals. Don't go confusing yourself, now. There's stuff in that book that's downright un-Christian, like the golden rule and such. God knows who to hate. You can rest assured of that.

Not really. Even in those areas, the number of their hardcore sporting goods fans isn't going to be equivalent to the number of "fans" who were interested in them because of the TV show. Once that fan base vanishes, they'll be back to the duck hunters who sustained them before--and those fools don't pay $50 for theater-type appearances.
