Wal Mart.

Not even once.

2014-04-18 12:05:53 PM
Walt?

2014-04-18 12:08:02 PM
I used to live in Tega Cay. This does not surprise me. At least it's not my brother that still lives down there.

2014-04-18 12:54:27 PM
Fun Fact: a lot of street X has meth in it, along with other things you wouldn't want to know.

2014-04-18 01:24:24 PM
He has a problem with drugs? I'm shocked, just shocked I tell you.

2014-04-18 01:26:01 PM
Well at least he fessed up and was honest about it.....

/so he's got that going for him, which is nice.

2014-04-18 01:26:19 PM
A naked guy walking around in Walmart???

No Way!

2014-04-18 01:28:38 PM
That was the most normal interview coming out of the situation that you could possibly hope for.

2014-04-18 01:29:55 PM
Mistook meth for ecstasy?   What was he researching?

2014-04-18 01:36:54 PM
I feel bad for the guy now. He seems like a nice dude.

Maybe I'll mail him some high-quality drugs to see if that will help.

2014-04-18 01:37:13 PM
Subby, did you go all method, and write the headline while on meth?

2014-04-18 01:39:27 PM

Yeah, this.

he was pretty candid.

Twitchy and wearing an ugly shirt, but candid.  I like the part where he says 'I must have gotten meth instead of X.  You can't trust anybody these days.'

I mean, who would have thought a drug dealer might be untrustworthy?  This moran is lamenting that a drug dealer may not be always honorable and reputable.  Well, golly!

Is it just me or do reports sometimes seem to ask the stupidest questions during these interviews?

How were you feeling?
Why were you naked?
How do you feel now?

All these questions would provoke me to go into an angry rant about how I messed up and how stupid are you if you can't figure out that I'm feeling pretty bad about the whole thing.

Why not ask questions such as

Who provided the drugs?
Are you currently seeking any treatment for your drug habit?
Have you got any social supports to help you during this time?
What were the legal ramifications of this incident?

You know, ask questions that might help the guy out or at least provide some sort of insight to his condition without "lol, did you realize you were naked, in public! lolz!"

2014-04-18 01:50:21 PM
awesome

2014-04-18 01:50:55 PM
I think he's kind of hot. Why is it that I never luck out and run into naked men like that when I go to Walmart?

2014-04-18 01:52:15 PM
Give the guy a break. It's like that Jesus fella said, "Let he who hasn't accidentally gotten high on meth and wound up naked at walmart cast the first stone."

2014-04-18 01:54:26 PM
This idiot apparently doesn't know what a tab of Ecstacy looks like does he.

(Did X 3 times over 13 1/2 years ago, fun times. Won't do it again though. Not up for burning a hole in my brain, ingesting all the spare ingredients they put in it nowadays, and I figured back then I could goof off, try it and be done).

No. The only reasonable question is 'why are you giving an interview but complaining about being all over the news?'

i really feel for this guy. i was touched by his honesty and candor.

The health and beauty aisle. Where they keep the hand cream.

I whole heartedly agree. I feel like he did something stupid, that perhaps most people his age would never do, but at the very least, he appears to genuinely feel regret and remorse. So, on that front, I say good for him. Were he a friend of mine, I'd be there to support him emotionally and anally in his time of need.

2014-04-18 02:06:23 PM
Someone should explain to him that he can simply say "No comment".

2014-04-18 02:15:16 PM
Does he get his X from Doug?

Walmart sells clothing.  Obviously he was in need of some.  What is the problem ?

2014-04-18 02:23:45 PM
He's really the victim in all this.

2014-04-18 02:33:02 PM
It happens. :/

2014-04-18 02:43:00 PM
he does also come off as kind of unstable.  twitchy and unstable.  not in a threatening way, but more of in an unpredictable way.  not exactly a full deck.

just saying.

like, i wouldn't hire him to work for me or anything.

This.

To be fair, endorphins are awesome.

Dude seems like a nice guy though. He shouldn't have to move, shiat he will probably make more friends now after people watch him on the news and see what a cool guy he is.

Props to the camera guy or woman. The last shot of the shoes is HILARIOUS!

Good to hear I'm not the only one who actually felt bad for this guy. He seems like a stand-up dude w/ some serious demons.

I genuinely hope this gentleman gets the help he needs.

2014-04-18 03:33:51 PM
If you're 36 years old, still doing drugs, and don't have honest connections selling you what you asked for, it's time to give up drugs.

2014-04-18 03:35:47 PM
Besides really focusing on the shoes, the camera got a nice shot of the blue sky.

"These were the shoes that you had on?" That's a wrap.

2014-04-18 03:36:28 PM
the sad thing is, it probably wasn't the worst thing to happen in a walmart that day.

It looks like the cops do too:

"Hughes was arrested for disorderly conduct "

That is probably the absolute minimum they could pick him up on.

Kudos on the cops in this situation.

I had x back in those crazy 90s. didn't like it

I had plenty of meth too. too much, at one point.

so when someone I know dumped out a bunch of molly and said it was x but you have to snort it I'm like "umm.....x comes in a pill"

there may have been a small amount of x in there but that shiat was mostly stepped on old school biker ether crank

Eh, people have done much worse in a WalMart

Dude, I was an overnight cashier at Wal~Mart store #5 in the early 90's.

Then why did you make such a Bold statement?
You (seemed) to clearly want to say that you never stepped foot into a walmart
Boobies, bolded, centered
You were definetly looking for attention

2014-04-19 12:14:29 PM
Lighten up, Francis.  It was a play on the anti-meth campaign.  Apparently you're the only one who didn't get it.

lol
