These and rickshaws seem like a reasonable compromise. I would grandfather-in the current horse cabs until their horses age out, should not take very long, but enables a transition.The horse hacks should have first dibs on permits for the e-cabs. That seems fair.

actaully, its a government conspiracy to hand over the land the stables sit on over to developers who are friendly with the mayor. Mayor Bill "The Red" Diblasio owes some favors from his election campaign.

This is not about the horses. It was never about the horses. It was always about real estate.
