White Witch Kevin Carlyon, who believes Nessie is a ghost, frequently casts spells on the loch and will return this summer.

If anybody ever asks you what caused the downfall of the mighty British Empire, it's shiat like this.

Looks to me like the wake of a boat captured in two different satellite images and then blurred together by the image stitching software.

Looks like a sturgeon or possibly a school of fish. Although that would be one big sturgeon if that is to scale.

Wake of a large jet boat.  Perhaps an Incat ferry or tourist boat?

Kevin Carlyon would be a white warlock, not witch. Witches are female.
Nessie can hide & throw mis-leading readings for just as long as it suits her, & for long time beyond that eh?

The Loch Ness monster is a gigantic horseshoe crab? Or a trilobite?

"Witch" is considered gender-neutral. Warlock, literally translated, is an oath breaker, not a witch. Somewhere along the line, someone decided to make up the whole witch/warlock dichotomy. Maybe it's the same thing as guys wearing kilts, not skirts. ;-)

By all means, keep coming to search for the monster. While you're here, why not buy a tin of shortbread, haggis in a can, an "I love Nessie" T-shirt, a see-you-jimmy hat and one of those kilt bathtowels done in tartan with a big sporran drawn in the middle. And they say our economy can't handle independence.

Big ol' catfish.

It kind of looks like wake off of a submarine. I don't think one could get into Loch Ness though.

So it must be one huge plecostomus.

TFA:
Three sightings were reported in 2013 but they were discounted as fakes.
One was a wave, another a duck and the third a picture not even taken on Loch Ness.
It was the first time since 1925 that there had been no confirmed reports of the monster.
White Witch Kevin Carlyon, who believes Nessie is a ghost, frequently casts spells on the loch and will return this summer.

We can tell if he's a real witch by seeing if he weighs more than the duck....

Before I looked at any comments my thought was it was a boat wake with some alterations added (Photoshop). If they actually get a L2000 prize for this, someone is really stupid.

btw, that's a photo of a boat on Loch Ness.  Not every boat has that pattern of wake.  Amazing coincidence that boats actually used on Loch Ness are the same size and have a wake pattern that matches Nessie in that image.
