Keanu Reeves too busy?

I'm personally very upset that the 7th movie in a series about people leaping from car to car at 100 mph, driving tanks that are faster than a Ferrari, fights that last 20 minutes and don't leave the stars even bruised, and jumping cars hundreds of feet over trains, buses and buildings would even THINK of doing something like have people fake the voice of one of it's characters.

And Paul Walker was a mediocre actor.  Stop treating him like Steve McQueen

Timmy the Tumor: Stop treating him like Steve McQueen

Gotta agree with that.

Be monotone and boring. Make it sound like you're reading a line.

2014-04-18 01:46:18 PM
Now the movie's popularity will be due to people going to see it solely for the purpose of looking for scenes where it's the brothers and not Paul. Good job.

Yep, and all these years after his death, people still pay  millions of dollars for a pair of sunglasses he wore, and worship him as some amazing action hero, not unlike...

Hell, James Dean acted in a grand total of three movies* before he ate the big one in his Porsche, and people still think of him as a god of sorts.

*He was in seven movies, actually, but four were uncredited.

This is actually a pretty amart move on the part of the producers.

I know in my life, my one brother and I have startlingly similiar voices.  So much so that back in high\
school my first girlfriend called looking for me, and he answered the phone.  She thought it was me so
began to talk to her, which was odd to him because the two of them really did not like each other or get
along in any way.  Their conversation lasted for like 5 minutes until she said, "Oh, I love you!"

I heard a bellowed "DJANNNNGGOOOO!!!! PHONE!!!!!" from the other side of the house and I could
hear the embarassed redness in her face as she told me what happened.

So, yeah: this should actually work pretty well.

You could have Big Bird do his lines, the 'tards that go see this crap wouldn't notice.

I think he was in the movie, 'Into The Blue'. Hard to be sure though because Jessica Alba...

Someone needs an intervention. I don't know WHO exactly, but it needs to happen. Maybe Vin Diesel can read a letter saying making the same movie every two years keeps him away from his D&D sessions.

Glad some one said it. I like you.

Yeah, because when I think of "authenticity" I think of the Fast/Furious franchise.

I just watched "Hours" with Paul Walker. Not bad at all. Not great, and his acting is mediocre, but the movie was surprisingly decent.

Appropriate reaction: d'aww that's cool.
Fark reaction: those movies I haven't seen or in that genre I don't like are garbage and the people who like them are so far below me, they say hello to Paul walker regularly.

Paul Walker was brilliant in that film.

too bad it didn't work in Santa Clarita Industrial Parks...

Martin Scorcese had an interesting observation that Dean's acting style is so dated he just can't watch him. You left out the 1st Pepsi Commercial, homie barely gets a close-up(he cheats his face in the last shot, God Bless Him)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQfikxbS4zE

Well, Universal has already put $200 million into this, and they had 3 choices.

1. Shut down the movie, and piss off Paul Walker's fans.
2. Rewrite the movie, edit Walker out, and piss off Paul Walker's fans,
Or.
3. Keep shooting, keep Walkers existing footage, figure out a way to finish the scenes he didn't do, and still piss of Paul Walker's fans.

It's a no win situation, so the studio just made a business decision. The option they took took was the most financially sensible one.

I will say that man was some grimy eye candy.  I don't usually go for perpetually oil stained and unwashed, but Paul Walker pulled it off.

Tokyo Drift is definitely the outlier, and the Paul Walker role was played by no-not-really-Paul-Walker

/I actually own this one.

They should have Jimmie Walker be a stand-in.
