OK, that was pretty sweet.

Awesome. He totally stuck that landing. I might have wondered about a fake if I hadn't seen some motorcycle rider jump up to the top of the Arc de Triomph at the Paris casino in Vegas a few New Years back. He stuck the same dead-stop landing.

He's a trials rider. That already puts him in the top 98% of all people riding motorcycles. And that was impressive.

Damn, for a minute there I felt special to be in the same class as that guy simply because I never accidentally slid under a bus while riding my motorcycle.

Yeah, one of the most fun sports to watch that doesn't get the respect it deserves, IMO

They're called 'mechanics' or 'grease-monkeys'.

I had a trials bike. 76 Yamaha TY 250 2-stroke...That was an amazing bike...Not crazy fast but tons of low end torque for climbing up stuff. Ahh the memories.

Before viewing the video I was thinking to myself, "If that guy doesn't do a flip or something, then 'Like a Boss' is an unfounded claim."

Color me surprised, because I totally did not expect an actual flip. "Boss" confirmed.

Trials bikes are a lot of fun. They have tons of torque, low center of gravity and a short wheel base so you can manhandle them like a bicycle.

They also made a street-legal version.  Nothing else like it before or since.

Somehow I don't think it's necessary to do that to load a bike on a truck.

Yes it is, if you want to be a champion.  My sis played basketball through hs and college, my dad had a rule that you never leave the court on a missed shot.  So, he likewise never leaves the track without one more jump.

/It did teach her about getting her head in the right place.
//meaning if she was upset and wanted to storm off, she had to make a basket
///but first she had to settle down, if she wanted to make the basket, otherwise she would be there awhile

That's a pickup truck now?

Or did someone sell him a sedan with a six inch lift and no trunk lid?

Either an F series or Chebbie. Very common to see a crew cab and 5.5 foot or 6.5 foot bed now. But I like the idea of a sedan with bed....hmmm....

Yeah, I remember those rather fondly but I'm talking about a regular sedan, not a modified station wagon.
