Nope. According to the article it's 85,000 films for a total of 3,500 hours, not 85,000 hours. Bad subby, Bad.

Never been a fan. It's like eating canned cat food.

Finally. Visual record of the nexus of centuries of inbreeding and bad dentistry.

I see Subby's been called out as a dumbass in the very Boobies. We're done here, folks. Let's pack up and go on to the next thread.

Spending 3,500 hours watching all that British Pathé footage sounds downright pathétic to me.

Man, that's a great resource to have available. Both World Wars, the Suez crisis, the Irish Free State, the Titanic, Queen Victoria's funeral, the beginnings/first half of the Cold War, the British version of the moon landing and the rest of the space race, the founding of Israel, Bay of Pigs, possibly Vietnam, Kennedy and MLK assassinations, the Hindenburg, the coronation of Elizabeth II, Algerian independence, all the Olympics, and the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia would probably be included in that stuff. First hand "hot takes" from people who were living through it, as opposed to rehashed old historical perspective crap.

Incredibly valuable resource. Good on them for making it available for free to the general public.

Oh, hell, now I need to stock up on Mt. Dew and Cheetos by the case.
