These sorts of computer and data entry related problems have NEVER been seen until Fartbongo usurped office.  NEVER.  There must be something evil going on.  I mean, just look at the guy.

When an administration is as corrupt as 0bama's, finding actual corruption is only a matter of time. We patriots might look like we are just trying to throw around a lot of dirt, but that is because we understand that when dealing with corruption the truth, just like a potato, is going to be hidden beneath the surface rather than be allowed to grow out in the open. And that is why we are going to keep digging: eventually, we will have potato to show for it.

Sadly, even your caricature doesn't appropriate exaggerate the cognitive inanity of the average conspiracy theorist. Here is a link to the skeptic blog Neurologica, going through, point-by-point, a conspiracy theory website's "how to argue" manifesto. We give conspiracy theorists too much credit, sometimes.  Aside from that temporary erroneous entry, there is no evidence whatsoever that Barack Obama ever used the name "Harrison J. Bounel" as an alias, or that Barack Obama's Social Security number was originally issued to someone by that name.

Notice that Snopes does not deny, but rather affirms, that the Bounel name was in fact linked to Obama's name, SSN, and home address.

Wow... They cite Snopes as saying that there is NO EVIDENCE that the SSN is linked to this Bournel dude, and then they immediately claim that Snopes did in fact say that...

And then there is this tidbit:
Note: One should not make too much of the "geographical code." It is not meant to be any kind of useable geographical information. The numbering scheme was designed in 1936 (before computers) to make it easier for SSA to store the applications in our files in Baltimore since the files were organized by regions as well as alphabetically. It was really just a bookkeeping device for our own internal use and was never intended to be anything more than that.
http://www.ssa.gov/history/ssn/geocard.html

Seriously, these people have NEVER had to correct an address? They've never received mail that was meant for someone else, but had their address? What a giant pile of asshats...

I'm betting that this is going to end up being related to Joe Arpaio's "universe shattering evidence" that he is planning on unleashing upon us any day now...

2014-04-17 10:48:55 AM
It's a clear fact that Ted Cruz and Rand Paul were able to steal Obama's Kenyan birth certificate from the embassy vault at Benghazi and then hide it on Bundy Ranch where True Patriots now stand, Rascal-to-Hoverround, ready to repel Obama's secret shock troopers until Kirk Cameron can finish his movie "Certifiable: Decoded by Jesus"

It's almost TOO simple

<grumble> yay for having Dutch last name and the space after the Van that was not entered properly on my social security card until I got it fixed last November.

On the other hand, my retired father is adamant about not getting his changed so it doesn't fark with his medicare and social security.

Long version: Social security number prove that Obama committed fraud, and here is a link to a Snopes article debunking the claim and a link to a blog with a more thorough debunking of the entire conspiracy theory. However, an out-of-context quote from that blogger proves that the blogger is desperate and thus the conspiracy is actually real.

Short version: Herp derp, wharrgarbl, where birth certifict whe, potato.

Obama has a fake birth certificate, let's go to Snopes for more...

Snopes says that Obama didn't use someone else's SSN, but let's claim that they did.

Cite, ignore, cite, ignore...

The above Snopes quote claims that "this type of error is common in [personal information] databases."
They supply no data whatsoever in support of this claim, but, once again, never mind.

Got that covered, guys...

Don't forget that if any actual facts contradict what they want to be true, then the site hosting the facts or even the facts themselves are also part of a liberal conspiracy.

I think they do the same thing my friend's mother does.

"Mom it's fake.  Check snopes."

So she goes to snopes.  Snopes reprints a copy of the original email forward, fake photo, etc, then has a few paragraphs (with citations) explaining how the urban legend is false, true, partially true, etc.

She merely sees that snopes reprinted it (without reading the site's take on the issue), so therefore it's true.  Those snoops people said so!

The incompetence argument is always the one I use with these types of people. It usually doesn't do any good in convincing a conspiracy theorist that his belief is probably unfounded, but at least it generally ends the debate with an agreement to disagree.
