Everton will crush Palace, but hopefully they put up a good fight. I think I predicted the Manchester City scoreline at 4-0 for the FFPL, and it may end up being a low estimate.

I put it at a conservative 3-0, but in my heart of hearts, I'm praying for a miracle from Sunderland that Liverpool's lead may be extended.

Despite their record, Sunderland has looked pretty good the last few games I've seen them in. They just don't have the quality or the depth to maintain it.

city dropping points would be a miracle, but i'm more worried about our last matches.

not to mention the chel$ki match, for which i will be on a mountain and have no internet access. i've known for months the season would come down to this match (even posted about it previously), but i cannot postpone my climb, since it's a group outing.

Was it an Everton OG or a mistake? Everton should be far too strong a side for Palace.

From the BBC:

They've had a good spell - and Palace lead! Yannick Bolasie gets down the right, Tim Howard can only palm his cross out, Marouane Chamakh tees up  Jason Puncheon and he finds the far corner with a low finish.
Like his winner at the weekend, that was perfectly placed.

Yeah, yeah, whatevea. Last chance for a Barca trophy, and they're not playing Hull or Wigan.

Okay, thanks. They just haven't yet learned how to tame The Chamakh.

Counter goal. Alves lost it, ball blasted forward to Benzema, who does a through ball for Di Maria who wrong-foots Pinto.

For those watching Copa Del Rey Final on the ESPN main feed, are you getting the audio a good bit ahead of the video?

2014-04-16 03:45:08 PM
Real haven't conceded in the Copa Del Rey this season. The only other team to ever do that was the 1915-1916 Athletic Bilbao. Only 3 teams competed that time.

2014-04-16 03:45:44 PM
To do that, they had a 5-0 aggregate win on Atletico.

Tim Howard holds his head in his hands. Are Everton throwing away their European tour dreams?

Palace have a two-goal lead through the softest of soft goals. Scott Dann heads home a free header from seven yards out. Rubbish marking.

Who owns Arsenal? Serious question and too lazy to Google. Maybe I'm just being the stupid American but when AW said his goal is to be top 4 and maybe get a trophy in one of their comps every year that seemed to be settling. Don't they have the resources to be competing for CL title and BPL title every year.

My understanding is that they have spent the past several years paying for the Emirates Stadium. I think they're finishing that up though.
