FTA: 'The wine was possibly produced in Germany and would not have been amazing when it was bottled, but now it would be completely undrinkable.

German "Black Table Wine". Yeah, sounds like a oenophile's delight.

\Germans should stick to beer.

There are thought to have been more than 25 attempts to kill Hitler between his rise to power in the 1930s and his death in 1945.

Man, That's a lot of people with time machines.
I thought we all agreed to meet at the crucifixion.

Wrong. Liquor doesn't age in the bottle, but wine does. And this stuff has likely aged from not quite average quality to absolute sewage.

That's not how wine aging works. Wine this old is almost certainly undrinkable vinegar at this point.

Stick to Kabinett and Spatlese graded wines, then.  What did you have Beerenauslese or Trockenbeerenauslese?
Yeah, those are really sweet.  One wine expert, I knew, called those "boudoir wines", as in, pour it on your lover and lick it off.

I thought Hitler was killed, but the time traveler, scared by the alternate future ramifications, decided to disguise himself/herself as Hitler, and thus avoiding whatever horrible future that he/she might have created.

"Gifted" was verbized on the internet back in 2005 and cromulated by 2006.

It's been in the English language for like 1000 years. It's actually a cognate of "give" which we got from the Danes when they took over parts of England.

Meh.

1. Their is a chance the wine was crap when it was bottled depending on the feelings towards the nazis of the wine maker who bottled it.

2.  it likely does not matter how the wine tastes as this is the sort of thing that probably will not be opened and kept as a collector item.

3. I'd not be surprised if some closet neo nazi bought it.

The modern term is just that, modern. This word didn't have any usage in the 20th century. It didn't exist. Where did it come from? A fellow earlier said from 2005, and that seems about right. You may as well concoct something like 'giverish' and say it means inclined to give, and guess what?

Giverish is a cognate of "give" which we got from the Danes when they took over parts of England.
