In fairness, he thought the refs, line of sight was blocked by the other players.

I can't even imagine what type of advantage he thinks doing that would give him. The player's looking right at him and trying to play the ball when he does it. I could see it in a football game where the defense is trying to find the man with the ball and vision is obscured with the offensive line. But this? It's a playground joke, made worse by the 5-0 blowout scoreline.

He's trying to catch the ball without technically using his hands. I don't know how he thought he would get away with it, but that's the advantage he was looing for, he got to grab the ball, stop its progress and drop it at his feet without his hands. Kind of without his hands, that is...

Somebody playing "Sweet Georgia Brown" somewhere and he lost his head for a minute.

Since I'm an American, I have no idea if there are rules against that.

I wonder what the stakes were in the bet he just won.

As an American, I am still trying to figure out how the bats and wickets relate to the "no-hands rule".

Prophet of Loss: As an American a narrow minded elitist, I am still trying to figure out how the bats and wickets relate to the "no-hands rule".

Being an American has nothing to do with it, stop using it as an excuse to be ignorant.
