That and The Other Guys are two of the funniest, most underrated movies of the last decade. Throw in Role Models for the trifecta.

I loved the Other guys.  I really didn't like role models.

When the Rock and the other guy jump off the roof I was in tears.

What's odd is that Ferrell and O'Reilly absolutely cannot stand each other in real life. At one point in filming Step Brothers, the two got into a full on fist fight, with each threatening to kill the other. O'Reilly is suspected of vandalising Ferrell's car and his trailer during the filming of Talladega Nights, including taking a dump on Ferrell's massage chair and smearing the fecal matter over many of his possessions. PAs are informed on set that they are to be kept separated until actually filming their scenes. AS soon as they are on set and in character, however, they are completely professional and seem to work well together. Even their assigned parking spots are placed as far away from each other as possible, and often, interns are posted to keep an eye on the two when they are not filming.

Doubtful. John C. Reilly's pre-Ferrell filmography included regular gigs with P.T. Anderson and Martin Scorsese. He doesn't need to do flicks with Will Ferrell to have a career.  If any of that was true, Reilly would have told Ferrell to fark off.

Now, Steve Carrell, there is a bastard. I heard he heels it down the shower drain.

Does seem unlikely; in interveiws not promoting joint projects they bring each other up a lot. Plus they do a lot together for Funny it Die, and no one is getting rich from that.

Michael Keaton was a nice addition. I also like how his wooden gun received a stain and coat from the bad guys.

My memory is fuzzy. It's those types of jokes that I enjoy...small and mildly amusing, like me.

John C Riley did a live action show for the Cartoon Network during Adult Swim called Check It Out.

If you've never seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it on the Adult Swim website. Dr Steve Bruhle is my hero.

Of course, I LOVE badly improvised, completely inane, un-watchable garbage.
