She could just abort them. I would actually LOVE to see a legal case and debate around the lady carrying currently aborting the children of a different mother. Not in Italy though, they tend to be farking stupid in their legal system. I want to see this case in a legallycompetent country, like Norway.

And we're bastions of perfection in terms of our legal system, where we send a man to jail for 18 months for peeing on a building.

Is there nobody else that sees infertility as nature's way of saying you weren't meant to have children?  I feel like we can't help but be screwing ourselves somewhere down the line as we actively deny natural selection.

The only two countries I mentioned are Italy and Norway. Are you Norwegian, saying your system is awful? Or is it your position that one cannot comment on the shortcomings of one country as long as there is an unrelated country that might be worse in that area? That's a pretty stupid position.

My friend swears to god both his children look 'exactly like him', and 'exactly like each other'.

I swear to god all babies look 'exactly the same'.  Now, his wife is not the type to cheat on him, so it's mostly just me giving him grief and him being good natured about it.

Honestly though, can people who aren't 'baby crazy' tell the difference between babies, other than obvious genetic things like skin color, eye/hair color, general size, etc.?  Do babies really have 'facial features' at that point? They all look the same to me.

Babyist!

Yeah, I have the same problem.  Someone shows me a baby or photo the expected response is "what a cute baby" or similar.  But my internal response is "yes, looks like a baby."

Although I've read that babies tend to look most like their biological fathers in their first weeks and months because in (mostly) ancient times there was a serious survival advantage to doing so.  Not sure if that's true or not though.
