Why have a nuclear powered bus?

Have the bus be electric, powered by the local nuclear plant(s).

Store some energy in batteries/fuel tank/generator, for short off route activity (to the bus stop and back on the highway).

It's a track de-icer.  We still use the same thing in this country. In fact, this past winter, there were a bunch complaints about what sounded like a jet  engine in a neighborhood near me.

Turned out it was a jet engine; CSX was deicing one the major N-S corridors

Maybe they should start with something a little simpler...

I like the T-34 chassis + MIG-15 engine combo better. It's also a product Hungarian craftsmanship.

I think it was built in the early 80s, and ts original purpose was the bulk decontamination of armored vehicles in case of a nuclear war against NATO. Instead it was used to suppress gas well fires in Kuwait after the Gulf War (and a few other places).

See it in action
