"We are becoming techno-people, or cyborgs."
No we motherfarking ARE NOT you futurist shiatstain. Suck your own dick a little harder and hopefully you'll black out and kill off the troublesome braincells that are causing you to get so excitable over progress that is not as drastic and world-changing as you want to believe.

I'm closer than most to being cyborg, but I'm sure there are many who are closer.

You're still miles ahead of the self-important twat who thinks owning a smartphone makes them the next stage of human evolution. Hell, a hooker with a rusty IUD is more cyborg than a Slate contributor.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and point out that:

1. IUDs are made of copper and/or plastic, and by definition cannot rust
2. IUDs aren't computerized or integral to function and therefore don't qualify as progress towards cyborg-dom
3. You're still absolutely right in your main point

:p

Once I get my titanium battle chassis, I'm off of this rock.

There are worlds to plunder, beyond this sphere,
Far off Titan, is too near,
Out beyond the Solar sear,
Vainglorious adventures, tales to hear,
Cries of; Hey y'all, watch my beer.

fark that noise, when I become a cyborg I'm going to hunt mutants for the bounty.
