I'm not exactly sure why, but this screams Maryland.  It's like they have rednecks that are just a touch dumber than other rednecks.  A coworker went on a fishing trip out of Solomons and the first mate or captain's assistant or whatever stole a wallet from one of the group while they were on the boat and then drank up a tab that night on the guy's credit card.  Right next to the slip.  It was like the laziest robbery ever, since he still had the wallet on him when he was arrested five farking days later.

The officer really said "It's a real head scratcher?" Is he a fat guy with a fellow officer named Lou?

This is why all kayakers should be armed. An armed park is a polite park.

The kayak should have mounted weaponry.  Maybe a railgun.

Or the gun had a silencer, or was a small caliber like a .22 and didnt make much noise. But I also dream of laser guns.

To clarify, that means everyone I knew in PA was a drunk with a gun. The number of shooting deaths? 0-1, depending on how you define "know". And really that was a rank novice hunting accident where alcohol was totally not a factor. Very basic "check downrange" stuff. Probably never woulda happened if they were drunk, because they woulda put the guns away.

The problem with America is the violence itself, not the tools. We breed contempt for the law and disregard for others. Add in pointless crusades against our own citizens' welfare and happiness and you get a great mill that just breaks people. Japan does practically the same thing, but in reverse, and lo and behold their crazies all go for suicide. American loons act out, not in. Removing guns will just bring an exciting new era of pipe bombs and arson, but as long as the culture's still broken it won't change anything.

Drunken idiot taking pot shots at people.

Or did somebody get to close to some crazy hillbilly's property?

No, my little anti-gun farker.  YOU are the one who equated inner city gangs with the NRA.  Apples and oranges.  Although there is a common theme, they are not the same.

Last time I checked, guns were a problem in inner cities because there are so many unregistered/stolen guns.  "Perfectly acceptable behaviour", right?

Drunken party.

This is bodkin creek in Pasadena which is a mix of McMansions and people who think they are longshoremen.

Ain't no place to grow shiat and the 'lowlandbillies' are further south.

There is no way that's a real thing.  I mean, a suppressor on a revolver?  That would literally do nothing whatsoever to the flash or sound it would just arbitrarily degrade the aim for no trade-off at all.

Surely whoever assembled that is just trolling.

// Then, I've seen spoilers on a 4-door sedan too, so I guess some people are pretty stupid.

Ya, it's unique.

If you knew took people from the neighboring areas like Severna Park/Arnold and mixed them with Glen Burnie you get Pasadena.

Guess you have to be an Anne Arundel county 'tard to understand.

Here is the source, a movie: Link

I'm sure the silencer helps hold the barrel down or something...

2014-04-14 12:48:29 AM
what im imagining here is the kind of bystander article we'd see if the action scenes in movies were real.  like, james bond is in the forest fighting with genius villain X's 6 henchmen.  3 of them have guns (all with silencers) and 3 of them have knives.  He takes out one guy with his own knife and then throws it perfectly at one of the gun guy's forehead and catches his gun while he's falling to the ground dead.  He then pops off 2 quick headshots at the remaining 2 knife guys but now he's out of ammo so he does a dive roll to one of the gun guys and tackles him head on.  He quickly chops the guy in the neck and turns him around to catch the bullets that are now coming his way.  3 bullets sail, 2 of which hit the bullet shield guy, killing him and one more sailing past which ultimately strikes the kayaker.  While still being used as a shield, Bond uses his hand with the gun still in it to squeeze off 2 perfect shots killing the last guy.  that explains why the kayaker had no idea what happened and why the cops thought it was a real "head scratcher".

Despite how the courtroom actually played out, the Zimmerman case brought the phrase "stand your ground" into common parlance and is strongly associated with the case.

Sounds like it was dark out when he got shot. That coupled with the shock of the injury and no, he probably couldn't tell you exactly where it happened.

It's also a good cover story ;)

It is a pretty short and somewhat narrow tributary that leads into the bay.

People often take their sailboat out at night on the weekends to anchor and have a few drinks along with shoreline party bonfires.

This weekend was the first really warm days so far this spring so I'm a bit surprised that nobody heard a thing.

I'd guess it was a pretty small caliber if it did come from the shore.

Who knows...AA county finest are on the hunt and the DNR too!
