Anything winning is better than Twilight when it kept winning for a few years.

Just a heads up...you're gonna be bombarded with promos for a new MTV show about fake lesbians.  Oddly enough, not a reality show.

/It stars one of the hot losers from American Idol.

All questions that will sadly go mostly unanswered since even tweens haven't watched that shiat in almost a decade now.

Feel free to let us know, subby, since you're literally the only person in the entire English-speaking world that'll ever have the info.  Don't expect us to actually stick around and listen, though, since we don't actually care.

Only if they promise to give Justin Beiber the vintage of Jesus Juice that Joffrey got tonight.

Well, it's been 7 hours since this discussion thread opened, and I'm only the 22nd comment. It's amazing how completely irrelevant MTV is to internet culture. I like that. I'll get the lights. G'night, guys!

Aside from a minute here and there while switching channels, I didn't watch this.  That being said, why is this thing on in early April?  They used to air it in May just as the big summer movies were coming out.  It was one of MTV's big event bookends for the summer along with the MTV Music Awards in late August/early September.  Considering the competition it's up against (e.g., GOT, Mad Men, etc.), it's almost as if MTV deliberately scheduled it so it would get lower ratings and they'd have an excuse to kill it.

Also, did they have any music acts perform or do they now only have them during the MTV Video Music Awards (which has become pretty much a legacy show for the network)?

Apparently nobody on Fark does but that might have something to do with the demographics of this web site.

The real question?

Which artist will have their illuminati ritual?

Mad Men started right after GoT

I honestly didn't even know they still did awards shows but I never flip though that range of channels on my TV and I've never seen it advertised on any of the channels that I do watch.

28 comments for MTV Movie awards, and 2,000+ comments for nearly all PPV WWE threads. Fark's demographics are fascinating.
