It is the drug which is the gateway to this.

Seems about par for the course in Arizona. Everybody with more than full retard levels of intelligence moved some place that can supply it's own god damn drinking water.

Most of that stuff is par for the course. The pot is the only exceptional part because of how difficult it is to obtain, but to then waste it on kids? It's news worthy.

Is it worse for a 7 year old to smoke a joint once, or to live in a house with dogshiat literally all over the floor?

Yeah, once.

It was going to be all piano lessons and French Camp from there on out, I'm certain.

His other numerous and sinister include smuggling, forgery, sailing under false colours, looting, poaching, brigandage, depravity, vandalism, impersonating a Royal Navy and other British and Spanish officers and a Clergyman, arson, kidnapping, piracy in the Caribbean Sea, perjury, theft and ransacking a rum shipment

One of the commentors on that page wrote, "Those kids never had a chance to have normal ears." what happened to their ears? Did the pot do it, or the dog poop? And why did the cops let the young guy, who is obviously a pedo serial killer litterbug, go?

Illegal firearms you idiot lib? There are no illegal firearms. There are only unlicensed firearms. He possessed an unlicensed 9mm handgun. He obviously didn't have a license because he was a felon.

I see you selectively omitted the fact that he gave them alcohol, had methamphetamine and illegal guns, and is a sex offender in exchange for a minor detail. Definitely the most appropriate headline.

Cities treat today's meth epidemic the same way they treated the growing gang problem in the 80s: pretending it doesn't exist.

Marijuana doesn't make people crazy and violent, and it sounds like an easier problem to treat. Meth (and gangs) points to a systemic failing.

Original poster must have a field day with the parents who give their 6yo pot everyday.

Actually, according to TFA, it was the mom who admitted to giving her teen daughter alcohol, not the step-dad.

had methamphetamine and illegal guns

So long as the kids weren't doing meth or accessing the gun/s, who cares?

and is a sex offender

Didn't see that he had been molesting any of the kids.

in exchange for a minor detail.

I don't consider getting a seven year old stoned a "minor detail.  That's where we differ, I suppose.

TomD9938: it was the mom who admitted to giving her teen daughter alcohol,

"Mom, can I try this and see what it tastes like?"
"Sure, but you aren't gonna like it."
My 9-yo self proceeds to down a shot of whiskey. Uncles whistled approvingly, but I had to admit it tasted awful. To be fair, my mom didn't think I would down the whole thing; she figured the smell would turn me off before I even got close to sipping it.

/seriously, how many parents would have to "admit" to giving their kids alcohol under similar scenarios?
//I really hate the way we're legislating parenting these days, and the details are always so farking vague you don't know what to be outraged about
///granddad giving me cans of Bud when I was 4 might have been a little overboard, but at least I have an excuse for my poor taste in beer

From about 6 to 10y.o. I was in charge of opening my dads beer can, slurping up any foam/overflow so it wouldnt make a mess and pouring it into his coffee mug.

After that I always got one of the olives and a sip or two from moms gin martini.

/ why yes, it was while we were driving down the road on the way to the cabin.

// they wouldn't have dreamed of injecting me with marijuana though

No, I'm pretty sure you are purposely acting obtuse on the definition of "illegal". The reasons for this range from having a 1 inch penis to realizing that you are literally worthless and not a single living or dead soul on this mudhole cares about what has or will ever happen to you. You're desperate need for human contact makes you say patently false things on the internet in the hopes of someone, anyone responding. I award you no points, and may whichever non existent deity you choose to worship have mercy on your soul.
