I want one for my bike.

How many will it take to get the average car off the ground?

That looks like too much fun. It looks noisy and it will probably kill me, but I have to try it.

Cool idea.

They aren't jets though.

Duct tape can fix anything. But to affix a jet thruster to a snowboard with it? That's hold-my-beer-and-watch-this territory!

like that blue Wicked Laser, I'm filing this under "toys I really REALLY want, but would almost certainly hurt myself with."

Mythbusters did this a while ago using a skateboard and an actual miniature turbojet engine.

Jet /= gas turbine. Jet propulsion just means you're pressurizing a fluid and releasing it through an accelerating nozzle. Which is exactly what happens with a well-designed ducted fan.

Seriously dude, that's the best culture reference I've seen this week, if not this month.
It could only be better if it had tits.

Well a GIS for 'sexy girl on a rocket bike' gave me this. Enjoy-

That is something I am willing to max out my amex card for.

There are actual true jet engines that size (that use kerosene) that work now (more thrust too). Ducted fans seem lame-sauce...

Wait did the Hardy Boys hack SHIELD or something? Coulson is straight up playing for keeps in Lola on that cover.

Can you mount a set of beam cannons on the crossbar?

Love the comment section about same thing.

They're using four of these motors.  How much thrust does each have?

And yeah, battery technology is starting to get good.
