muwaryer: I bet they just love doing that.
timujin: Hah, Backdraft comes to life!
GarbageDay: Of course it was a BMW. German-made vehicles scream "A farking prick drives this car."/Including Volkswagen, but to a lesser degree
Maud Dib: Please let it be a BMW, oh pleeeze...*clicks*[rack.2.mshcdn.com image 850x444]YES!!!!
unyon: You know, the only problem with this is that the hydrant is lower than the windows. If it were higher, then you could also get water from the hydrant connection to run down into the car, destroy the interior, and really do it up right.
Shadow Blasko: Karma is a bank for your next incarnation, subby. This is just beautiful poetic justice.
Thingster: I've always wanted to see a firetruck just push a car or of the way. Then when Captain dickbag tries to give the bill to the city, they just hand him a ticket back with a nice "FOAD"
Captain Horatio Mindblower: Firefighters knowingly risk their lives every day to save people they don't even know. These ones also trashed a BMW. Why no hero tag?
ZAZ: ThingsterBroken glass is normally a zero-deductible insurance claim.
tinyarena: Not to be "That Guy" or anything but, if they had to pick the car up to move it, why didn't they move it out of the way in the first place?I guess I don't understand their manly ways...
Valeriyance: I am amazed they only got a $100 ticket. I expected a much larger fine and possible towing if the owner was not present.
Isitoveryet: I kinda feel sorry for the lady that owns the BM'er, i bet she's cute & successful./no I don't
plutoniumfeather: only $100 ticket? it ought to be more. LOTS more./i'm not a fireman, but Dad was.
Mr. Right: FTA: This morning, the BMW is no longer is parked next to the hydrant. And I'll bet someone has learned a valuable lesson they'll be able to use for the rest of their life.
hitmanric: Mr. Right: FTA: This morning, the BMW is no longer is parked next to the hydrant. And I'll bet someone has learned a valuable lesson they'll be able to use for the rest of their life. This a BMW owner. I'll bet against it.
KeithLM: tinyarena: Not to be "That Guy" or anything but, if they had to pick the car up to move it, why didn't they move it out of the way in the first place?I guess I don't understand their manly ways...They moved it a short distance. Moving it a greater distance to completely clear the hydrant would have required more time and energy, and could have lead to someone injuring themselves, all while they should have been fighting the fire.
