We never searched very hard for Amelia Earhart.  Pieces of her wrecked plane were most likely located all the same.

I'm confused.  Why would you use a picture of Helen Keller in a story about Amelia Earhart?  Is this some sort of inside Fark joke?

I assume it's because he/she thought it would be in poor taste to use Amelia Earhart's actual picture.

Chances are, if you don't get it, it's a Fark inside joke. Or someone's very drunk. Or they got autocorrected. Or--

Yes. The answer here is yes.

I had was once searched for the my keys for what seemed like what was days. I was so late for what was work. My the boss was being so mad at towards me. I tried explaining the loss of the my keys to him, but he wouldn't try to listen. That was what the most difficult search evar was.

Even Kirk was able to find the Galileo VII in a thick nebula in an hour and only lost three or four redshirts.

Well, in their defence they did say "most difficult", not "most leisurely". The search for Amelia Earhart is going just fine considering how long she must have been dead by now.

They're pretty sure they've found her, subby. There's a group trying to do a more in depth search for the wreckage of her plane if they can get money for it. Pay them enough and they'll let you tag along, too!

It just took, you know, half a century.

I went skiing a few years ago. I am a bad skier. First time down and I take a wrong turn onto an advanced run with fresh snow on top of a decent base. I wipe out at ~30 mph and tumble downhill for 150 feet. Shiat flying everywhere - skis, sunglasses, hat, my retainer and my car keys. Even better, just as I realize what I've done, a groomer comes by and rolls right over the debris field. I screamed profanities, walked down to the chalet and got drunk. However, my buddy took some runs down the same hill while poking his ski poles around trying to find my keys. On the last time down, he was about to give up when, "ching." He found them. Fark yeah, they'll find that plane.

Actually now CNN is pursing a Maylasian Air Force cover up.

It's pretty clear that the pilot was trying to avoid foreign airspace. The questions now is - who was the actual pilot?
