Don't direct traffic for a funeral procession

Unless it's your own.  Because that would be pretty awesome.

To reconcile respect with practicality, what is the optimum speed for a hearse?

Beat up an innocent bystander, that's what the real cops would do...

Again?  This is not a repeat.

A guy did this in Illinois. He also wouldda got away with it if it wasn't for the uniformed cops in the marked police car watching him.

I think in most countries they would have laughed at this guy and sent him home. But here, no, lets put a mark on his record and get him ready for maximum profit generation confined to the institution for criminal creation.

Sounds like he probably used to be a cop, or knows one or something considering the get up and vehicle

They are so easy going in those most countries.

I wonder if he was doing a good job at directing traffic.

Rookie mistake, you should always choose construction worker when fake directing traffic

An uncle of mine has just hopped out of a car he was riding in, and directed traffic till his ride got through then he would jog up to jump back in.  Worked a few times without anyone getting their panties in a bunch.  He didn't have to impersonate anyone, but it helped he's a big guy who could carry a dryer on his shoulder.

He was a cop for a year ~25 years ago.

There are circumstances when it's fine for civilians to direct traffic, and drivers will cooperate.  During huge blizzards when the traffic lights go out we get volunteers who go out and direct traffic and see them as good guys.  Drivers cooperate only to also be good guys.  Nobody fakes that they have any authority.

Same when I held traffic so a semi could back away from a low viaduct.

The problem here is when that guy pretends to be a cop.

They knew he wasn't a cop because he didn't shoot, taze or beat the shiat out of anyone.
