I opened that page and started scrolling and thought, Oh man not another one of those lame parallax hipster websites, but then as I kept scrolling I realized that the page was just some centered text and pictures in a single giant column.

WTF is this? Are we back in 1996 or something? Modern website design, motherfarker. Look into it.

Funny that, I was just checking out the Orion Nebula last night as a farewell until winter returns.  I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't consider that one the most famous.

Um, that opened to a story about  10 yer old sexually assaulted on a bus. Was he on his way to a planetrium or something?

I clicked on TFA thinking "Horsehead, it's gotta be" and I got instead was some kick ass astrophotography.

That's what I was thinking, but to each his own I guess. If you live in a big city and can't see much because of the lights, I recommend the app skyguide. Not sure if it's available on all platforms, but I love using it on an iPad.

No, but I figured the site's Idiocracy-styled wall-of-noise would be a welcome relief to you after confronting the horror of a page that shows you only text and images related to its actual topic (shudder).
