In development for mobile and browsers (oh stop),  Star Trek Timelines is a story-driven social game (calm down!)

Fail.

I'll play it. I don't expect much from browser games but their Game of Thrones Ascent isn't bad, for a Facebook game.

I played a Star Trek games years ago that was a little buggy but I had a lot of fun flying the Klingon ships around blowing up Federation ships.  PC game, probably made before some of you were born.  The games after that seemed, well, less good and just as buggy so I moved away from them.  Anybody know if they have something like that now?

I almost forgot about Lwaxana Troi, and prepubesent Alexander Rozhenko. They would have to be in there somewhere too, so round out my team.

I wanted to post something snarky, but the Romulan and the Klingon campaigns are really well done. If they could just gravitate the Federation side away from "Go kill everything and earn badges for it!" and more towards some great missions, like that one where you're captured and have to escape that romulan labor camp, it would be a great(er) game.

One of my guilty pleasures, though it has gotten quite grindy as of late.

/loves to troll people in zone chat by Saying "Star TrAk" instead...drives them insane.

Sins of a solar empire with the Sacrifice of Angels 2 mod. Pretty good except the borg are extremely OP.

I'd want to fill my crew with biatcharacters.

Ensign Sonja Gomez.   Ensign Robin Lefler.  the Orion girl from "In A Mirror, Darkly".  Sarah Silverman's character from that Voyager 2-parter.  Morn.  that one TOS redshirt who didn't die.  Porthos.  and of course Mr. Mott, the barber.

WTF? Not sure how Ezra was annoying, but ok. She was cute as hell, just not as confident and risk taking as Jadzia. I'd party/drink with Jadzia and marry Ezra.

Also, goddammit so much for making it a farking mobile/phone game.

Can I get Reginald Barclay who had a (technobabble) accident and now thinks he is a bat-shiat insane but brilliant mercenary?  Oh yeah, and all the phaser fire marksmanship is worse than Stormtroopers, but there's a shiat ton of it?  And explosions.  But nobody dies?  Because that would be awesome.

Wasn't Q temporarily a member of the crew? If so, I take him and Guinan. It's sort of a buddy cop, odd couple space comedy. David Schwimmer plays the nextdoor neighbor.

I read that they are working on retooling the Fed campaign to be more in line with the other two factions.

If you want buddy cop/odd couple comedy, read "Q in Law". Q gives his powers to Lwaxana for a while. That would be an odd couple comedy...

The question is who gets to wear the red shirt.  Naturally in Voyager universe it would be Chakotay, but I'm routing for them all.

I was just coming in to say that I'd much rather have an updated version of Star Fleet Command.  I played the ever-loving hell out of that game and its sequel.

FTFY

Closest thing to Starfleet Battles was Starfleet Command.  The MMO's space combat is utter crap in comparison.

Having Worf on Kirk's command crew is an interesting proposition post-ST3 for drama purposes.

Wonder if they're gonna have any of the EU characters. It'd be awesome to have a game with Mackenzie Calhoun, or a Ro Laren who made it back into Starfleet after the handover of the station

Master of Orion, 1, 2, or 3?

#2 was my fave.  It was like Civilization on a global scale.  #1 was far more combat-driven.  Didn't play 3 much.
