Well if you have a better way to heat a home, brother, I'd like to hear it.

FTA: Geist was charged with risking catastrophe

In other news, "Risking Catastrophe" would be an awesome band name, or a good Fark Alt.

Police were called Friday to the block where Geist lives for a report of a disturbance, according to charging documents filed by Lebanon City police Patrolman Brandt Zimmerman.

You know we have way too much government intrusion when a man can no longer risk catastrophe in his own home.

2014-04-08 04:47:51 PM
The good news is that there still is a house full of propane tanks, instead of a flattened, smoking ruin.

Bunch of teenagers were smoking and I said, "hello, you really shouldn't smoke..."
and they rolled their eyes
"... next to all that propane"
and they said, "whoa, thanks."

You get that strung out on bad dope, your brain function approaches zero.

Then you do something stupid, then the cops show up, and game over.

If I am ever arrested I want the charges to include words like "catastrophe", "mayhem" and hopefully "hookers".

Actually, I think it may be mutton. But I couldn't find a picture with a friar eating turkey, so you'll have to pretend.

Actually, I think he looks more like Syphilitis, the second cousin of the wife of the guy who once filled in for Constantine's tailor that one time. Or maybe it was the second cousin of the wife of the gardener for Constantine II. I get those two mixed up.

The tanks had Blue Rhino stickers and matched the description of several other propane tanks that had been stolen recently in Lebanon, Zimmerman said.

They did?  Damn near every propane tank I see is a Blue Rhino these days.  Pretty thin excuse for probably cause.  It seems likely that they were in fact stolen but if I were this guys lawyer (and luckily for him I'm not.  GED in law and all) that's the first thing I'd go after.

That led the officers to ask Geist if they could search his home. After he consented...

Oh.... moran.  Although the crack/meth pipes probably weren't exactly helping him out in the mental acuity department.
