Sure, but the ones who aren't bonkers are cox.

Hi-O!

2014-04-08 01:19:07 PM
Well, there's one.

2014-04-08 01:20:15 PM
He'll be a Democrat soon, methinks, with a stop in indie-land.

2014-04-08 01:27:31 PM
His bonkers if he gives a shiat about women's rights and STILL is a republican.

Tigger: His bonkers if he gives a shiat about women's rights and STILL is a republican.

AND he's a physician, just like Bill "It's not animal torture if I wait for the statute of limitations to run out" Frist. Isn't the Georgian "evolution is a lie from the pit of hell" guy also a doctor?

For some reason, there are lots of docs in the GOP, and it seems many of them stopped taking continuing ed classes right around the time them sluts started popping babykillers every time they lay back.

Good for Cox.

// hooray for Cox?

I'm not sure that Jesus H. Christ himself could get elected to office in Oklahoma running as a Democrat.  Hell, even Texas look down on Oklahoma (with justification) as a bunch of retarded wingnut derpers.

2014-04-08 01:47:47 PM
Good on him.

2014-04-08 01:50:16 PM
I await the follow-up article about his office being overrun by legions of Hoverrounds piloted by men dressed as aborted fetuses in waistcoats, breeches and tricorn hats

I thought it said "Anti-Choice Pill" and though this was someone campaigning against birth control.

Cox pointed out that teen pregnancy is still an issue in Oklahoma. The state's teen birth rate is the second highest in the nation"

Never thought I'd say it, but in this narrow and specific case, "I like Cox".

2014-04-08 02:54:40 PM
Cox was the most recent recipient of Planned Parenthood's Barry Goldwater Award

Haha wow

WTF, Oklahoma?  Alabama and Mississippi are pointing and laughing at you...

They are only against WBC because they want to protect military families. If WBC was just hassling 'the gays' they wouldn't do a thing to oppose them.

RINO. Really. The Republican Party he joined doesn't exist anymore. He's like Wile E. Coyote but he hasn't looked down yet.

So, when is he up for re-election, to be primaried by someone in the Tea Party?

CSB:
In college, I was in a RHPS group. At almost every party where I hit on a woman I hadn't met prior, a friend would helpfully point out that she was a lesbian, and I was wasting my time. This happened at many parties over my several years.

So no, not all women love the "Cox", and I apparently have an attraction to the "type" (specifically: sort of punky, femme-y types with nice eyes. I don't know when or why or how it happened, but apparently I'm a sucker for short hair).
END CSB

I know your pain, having hit it off with women on more than one occasion only to find out they're teh ghey. Hair wasn't even short. Oh well.

Alternatively, I was trying to work out something along the lines of "Cox is OK!" but couldn't come up with anything snappy enough.

That's my expectation.

"This bill is prejudiced," Cox said. "It's prejudiced against women. A 14-year-old boy can go to the truck stop and buy all the condoms he wants. He can control his destiny. This bill takes the ability to control their destiny away from women. But that's what we do in the Republican Party these days."

A Republican said this?  He'll be run out of the party as a RINO soon.

There are probably a few districts in the state where sane people can be elected.

Hey, look, not all Republicans in Oklahoma are completely bonkers

On one issue.  The fact that he's a Republican means that he agrees with them on at least a majority of issues, otherwise he would identify as something else, at least independent or...ahem...libertarian *snicker*.  These days Republicans are factually and morally wrong on virtually every major issue I can think about.  This guy is definitely bonkers on plenty.

So, one halfway smart person from Oklahoma didn't leave the second he turned 18.

Long term, it's a state full of derp, as no one with talent or brains will stay there.
