I wish we could get my mom's cat to do that.

He doesn't just unroll it.  He attacks it on the wall and shreds it.  He literally hangs on with tooth and claw and destroys it.  It's not unrolled when hit hits the bathroom floor.  It's pulp.

She has to keep the roll in a tupperware bowl.  Which he then attacks and moves around the bathroom to get the toilet paper goodness inside.

The age old argument about whether the roll should feed 'over' or 'under' continues.

If other cats learn to do this, then

I'd say it ends... with an internet cat demonstrating the correct way and why.

I eventually gave in and just sacrifice a paper towel roll to ours for that purpose.  I wrap tape around each end a few times so it takes him a while to chew it apart.

All I got was a lesson in which sites not to enable to get the video.

I never thought cats destroying rolls of toilet paper was cute.  My solution:  Put the roll on a towel rack high up enough that cat can't reach it.

You get in the habit of remembering to grab it before you have a seat.

There's someone who has done the wet flap waddle then...

Hint - it's only "under" if you own a cat.
