Thanks for ruining any positive thoughts Webb. Denied a clear penalty for David Villa being shoved in the back.

2014-04-09 04:16:40 PM
Well, it could be worse. At least United fans don't have to watch their two biggest rivals battle for the Premier League title this weekend...oh, wait.

2014-04-09 04:17:48 PM
Honest question for Man U fans:  I always forget that you actually have Hernandez.  Why doesn't he play more?

AND THERE! IS! YOUR!

DAGGER!

Just like how Nani is on their roster, I think they're kept hidden from the coach.

2014-04-09 04:18:28 PM
Arjen Robben might be the least popular player in England since Maradona.

2014-04-09 04:18:37 PM
ARJEN ROBBEN!

Princip's Sandwich: Thanks for ruining any positive thoughts Webb. Denied a clear penalty for David Villa being shoved in the back.

Nooooooooooo (for basically everything after the Evra goal)

2014-04-09 04:19:10 PM

Princip's Sandwich: Congratulations Moyes. You made people think highly of you for a minute. Now it's time to squash any positive thoughts.

Thanks Moyes.

One could argue Evra had a bit to do with that one as well with that pathetic stab, allowing Robben to get away like that and start cruising across the face of goal with the ball lined up for a hard show with his stronger foot.

2014-04-09 04:20:39 PM

marius2: Why not :P

Bayern 3-1* Bayern advance 4-2

So far, I'll be glad if this sticks like this. Okay, It wasn't a penalty like I called, but again good enough.

2014-04-09 04:21:05 PM
Wow, I missed quite a bit taking a trip to the work cafeteria and back.

I guess Evra farked up again? Oh, well, off to Newcastle next year as they always have a use for underperforming French guys.

RumsfeldsReplacement: Honest question for Man U fans:  I always forget that you actually have Hernandez.  Why doesn't he play more?

He tends to play in the same space for the same opportunities as Welbeck, and Moyes prefers Welbeck because reasons.

If Moyes didn't have the anger pointed at him, Evra would be getting criticized in the press constantly this season.

2014-04-09 04:21:43 PM
I felt like De Gea should have done better on that one.

Or Sunderland, the traditional rest home for underperforming Man Utd defenders

So Manchester United has their own Zaragoza? Nice to know.

Yeah, he's never been that convincing back there buy Man U's always had the supporting cast and tactics capable of concealing his faults. That's just not happening this year.

Or MLS.

When I saw it live I did too, but on the replays you see it takes just enough of a deflection to wrong-foot De Gea.

2014-04-09 04:24:17 PM
Well that was an interesting change for United, or?

2014-04-09 04:26:22 PM
Messi hasn't gotten a single chance today.

I've been on his case for years. Any time it looked like Vidic had made a mistake I'd look around and sure enough, it would turn out he'd been desperately trying to cover for an AWOL Evra.

Koke's dancing around Alves all night. A really good player that I hope they keep.

Barcelona have only managed two goals in five matches against Atletico. Simeone has that shiat on lock down.

Simeone pulling a Mourinho by conducting the crowd.

RumsfeldsReplacement: Honest question for Man U fans:  I always forget that you actually have Hernandez.  Why doesn't he play more?

He's behind RvP, Rooney, and Welbeck in the depth charts.  He played this past weekend, but has been lacking recently.  That's my take anyway.

2014-04-09 04:30:34 PM
Almost there Atletico...

2014-04-09 04:32:30 PM
Is that Eric Wynalda with Gus?

2014-04-09 04:34:44 PM
In truth, after Bayern got that instant equalizer there only ever looked like one winner.

Arguably Moyes should have made changes sooner, but I don't seriously think that would have made a difference to the outcome.

Atletico!

That is just awesome!

2014-04-09 04:37:18 PM

RumsfeldsReplacement: My turn!

Bayern def. Man U 4-0, Bayern advance 5-1

Atletico def. Barcelona 1-0, Atletico advance 2-1

Chelsea def. PSG 2-0, Chelsea advance 3-3 on away goals (just for the lulz)

Dortmund def. Real Madrid 2-1, Madrid advance 4-2

Pretty good!

I'll be selling stock tips later this afternoon.

Bayern win 3-1!

I got one prediction right at least :P

2014-04-09 04:38:56 PM
Calling it:  Bayern/Chelsea and the Madrid derby x 2.

2014-04-09 04:40:05 PM

Rwa2play: Calling it:  Bayern/Chelsea and the Madrid derby x 2.

Most likely. I'm fine with either that or Real-Chelski.

I got the same right, plus the outcome (but not the score) in Dortmund. Hopelessly wrong on the other two.

2014-04-09 04:40:25 PM
Alright we've got

Bayern M
Chelsea
Atletico
Real Madrid

Predictions?

Draw is Friday 11 am Switzerland.

Whoever gets Chelsea has it easiest. Hopefully Bayern can get some revenge and have a EPL killer Champions League run :P

I'll just take the lottery numbers, thanks.

Hoping for Chelsea/Real and Bayern/Atletico and an all Madrid final.

Come on guys we all know it's TOTALLY RANDOM hahahahahaha

2014-04-09 04:41:20 PM
Madrid Derby or we riot

2014-04-09 04:42:21 PM
So what would be the consensus BEST matchup for the final? I'm leaning towards Bayern vs Real just because Lahm and Alaba against Bale and Ronaldo just seems worthy of an entire match itself.

2014-04-09 04:42:50 PM
I do hope the trophy comes to Madrid, whichever team does it. Atletico deserves some glory.

2014-04-09 04:42:54 PM
Chelsea-Madrid or Chelsea-Bayern would be an opportunity for much lulz with Mourinho.

2014-04-09 04:43:43 PM
Madrid Derby in Lisbon. That would be fun.

If he gets Pep again, he might hire an assassin to kill the man that costs him the tie if he loses..

2014-04-09 04:45:36 PM
If Real ends up getting Bayern, I just hope it's not a redux of the last time, where Ramos etched his name in Champions League infamy. Either win or lose with dignity, not spectacularly.

2014-04-09 04:45:55 PM
No matter what happens now the draw will be great. Either Madrid Derby with Chelsea/Munich rematch, Mourinho going to Real, or two legs of Munich/Real.
