If you beat Iowa State in the NCAA mens b-ball tourney you have a better than 50/50 chance of going on to win it all.

Youre welcome UConn.

The NCAA needs to really fix their rules regarding fouls, because too many teams use athleticism to take advantage of some pretty piss-poor officials/rules.

Hey, at least Wichita State had a chance. They probably would never have even sniffed a bowl game in football.

the great thing about college basketball is in the regular season there's more than 2 real games all season, and you also don't have to sit on the edge of your seat hoping some terrible school like Illinois or Michigan State knocks off a joke team that's going to get into the national title game despite their hilariously terrible schedule cuz their jersey says Ohio State

So Michigan state is terrible and their jerseys say Ohio state or whatever. UM Ok.

What an abortion of a comment.

When a team that sucks at shooting 3s needs to hit miraculous 3s to win, it was going to catch up to them eventually.

That said, Connecticut vs. Kentucky?  Could there have possibly been a more boring championship matchup for anyone not emotionally invested in either team?  Forget their seedings; these guys have been tournament fixtures since at least the 1990s.

In fairness to Napier, at least he stayed in school.  I mean, if you want to call out "student athletes" wait until the announcements start coming out about who is leaving from this Kentucky team...

I mean yeah, except for the part where the Kentucky coach's teams have vacated every final 4 they've ever been in so far.  Once he's gone from UK, it'll be a matter of time before something comes up where they'll be vacating those, too.

college basketball is pretty hard to watch tbh, the shooting percentage is always pretty terrible and guys are constantly charging the layup either trying to pass or get a foul... it's like, there's defense and yet there isn't defense, just seems all over the place and hard to grasp when things are going right or wrong until a ref makes the call

What's to fix? It works just fine. Now, if you'll pardon me I have to call a foul on Alex Poythress because...I dunno, reasons? He just looks like he's fouling?

This is bad news for Calipari.  The NCAA won't vacate a championship, but he's seen every Final Four appearance vanish otherwise because he's a corrupt, player-buying, test-buying fraud, and this team is no different, as are any other teams he's had since he got to Kentucky (take a special look at Trey Lyles, coming in next year!).

I see him leaving out for the glitz of the NBA before sanctions strike, once again.

There's a difference between "not making the tourney because you suck" and "not making the tourney because of sanctions"

Can you at least admit that sanctions have traditionally followed Calipari wherever he went and that history could come back to bite you in the ass?  Don't be surprised if he retires for "health reasons" once the sanctions catch up to him in Kentucky.
