Newsflash- As websites, like people, become more irrelevant they tend to say or do more outrageous things in vain attempts to stay in the public eye. It rarely works.

It was sold by the homeless out of milk crates and also featured a kick-ass recipe for mung paste. It had a circulation of 18.

So, *more* professional and with higher journalistic standards than Breitbart?

2014-04-07 05:22:58 PM
So the other day we had this interesting article, with a great money quote:

One of the [four] images is adorable, the rest are varying degrees of disgusting and aversive. Which image does your eye go to first, and how long did you focus on it?
The results of Hibbing's study were clear: The conservatives tended to focus their eyes much more rapidly on the negative or aversive images, and also to dwell on them for a lot longer. The authors therefore concluded that based on results like these, "those on the political right and those on the political left may simply experience the world differently."

If you want to advertise to a liberal audience, show them a puppy. If you want to sell to conservatives, stab the puppy first.

So its okay when liberals do it to Bush or other conservatives, or should we expect to hear apologies from liberals for those photoshops?

As for the pic itself, I would agree that its weird, if not down right nasty.  I would have thought a scene from Benny Hill would have been a better choice personally, but that's just me.

I know right? Remember that time "liberals" made a joke out of finding the WMDs that Bush said were in Iraq? And then we went to war for no reason and killed tens of thousands of people and spent trillions of dollars?

And we made Bush go around-and-around the Oval Office, looking under desks and chairs, and saying, "Nope, no WMDS here!"

What a hoot!

I vote a straight ticket as in no Republicans because I learned when push comes to shove voting for the most moderate one is the same as voting for the most conservative one. They will always vote with the party leaders every time so there is no difference in voting for any of them.

I am sure that you have plenty of examples of photoshops of "Bush or other conservatives" that were done in this fashion...I tried finding them, but when you put "photoshops of Bush" into a GIS what you get is NOT what I was looking for...or was it? ;)

Fart_Machine: I don't get it. It doesn't make sense even for Breitbart.

You see, Nancy Pelosi is a Rep from California, whose current governor is Jerry Brown who wishes he were as awesome as the Governator (and, by no small coincidence, so does Nancy Pelosi) and since Miley Cyrus clearly must be a hollywood liberal and is totally gross based on her behaviour at that awards show (just like how Nancy Pelosi is totally gross), putting Nancy's head on Miley's body and in a position of attempting to perform an apparent sex act on the Swartzenegger-inspired Jerry Brown just symbolizes, in crystalline fashion, that liberals are such poopy-heads.

I mean, it's all right there. So obvious.

Yah all those new organizations that were trying to build credibility we totally photo shopping Bush as Hitler.

Also comparing Bush to Hitler was not a major theme of the upcoming election. (i.e. I'm not voting for democrats because they photoshop little mustaches on Bush which to me confirms their policy on guns.)

In this case, a Conservative news organization (and I use the term loosely) that wants to be taken seriously puts on an add that confirms a bias that conservatives are hostile to women.

See. This is how adults look at similar issues and are able to compare and contrast.

but go ahead an BSABSVR
