I'd pay a nickel if someone could come up with a new take on the headline for this kind of accident, because the new drive through thing a tad played out

I dunno: I kind of liked the fact that the headlines says the donuts had a drive-thru service.

"I was just driving my car and reading the newspaper like any mayor would and then out of nowhere came this doughnut shop and I was all like 'whowwww whowww, look out Country Fresh Donuts!'"

He then gave a brief but tearful and vulgar apology to "those sweet doughnuts" with a prayer in the name of St. Tim Horton.

Cops say the car lost control and jumped a curb to smash through the front window. It had enough speed to continue right through the side brick and glass wall.

Wouldn't it be more technically to say "momentum"?

But then velocity would be the correct term, as his speed could remain constant (or even increase) and he could still avoid penetrating the wall.
