No, idiot. It's not offensive from a political perspective. It's offensive from a comedy perspective. I mean, Clinton jokes? Those stopped being funny, oh I dunno, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say a couple of years into the Bush Jr. administration. Oh, hey, I hear Taft was fat! Wanna make fun of that? Oh, and Harrison. He died after making a long speech in the cold. That dummy shoulda known better, right? Oh, and I hear that Thomas Jefferson was really into the ladies! He and Clinton should go bowling!

Any stand-up comedian still telling Lewinsky jokes in 2014 has clearly not been hired as a comedian. The only possible explanation is that he was hired as a human pinata.

Seriously if the guy had joked about Reagan's Alzheimer's he would have gotten far more shait and probably a few death threats.

But apparently, that's his whole schtick.  And now with an impending Hillary Clinton presidential run, he's got another ticket for the gravy train.

Tim Watters is the premier impersonator, impressionist and look alike of President Bill Clinton.

Tim Watters has the total look, perfect voice and his mannerisms are absolutely stunning!

Tim Watters wows his corporate and association audiences with the way he personalizes his performances.

In addition to his hilarious presentations, Tim goes out of his way to mingle with his audiences following his presentations with a meet and greet and photo opportunities.

Tim Watters adheres to the highest level of professionalism never offending anyone Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative.

Tim's ability to think to "think fast and be quick on his feet" leads to memorable performances.

Tim Watter's material is constantly being updated as Hillary's run for the White House continues.

To a community college audience who are unlikely to have been alive during his lifetime, yeah. I guess if you're doing some sort of historical shtick it might be OK. Besides, have you ever heard a professional comedian telling jokes about Reagan's memory? Even the Bush presidency is a bit long in the tooth for a normal standup routine.

See, it's this right here that's offensive. I say that not as liberal or a Democrat, I say it as someone who enjoys comedy. It is not OK to be a Clinton impersonator in 2014. I'd be extremely offended if someone presented me with this person and expected me to be entertained. They might as well have hired a farking ventriloquist or one of those shiatty hypnotists.

I know a company that hired a guy who did Bill Clinton and Lewinsky jokes -- painfully unfunny and out of date.  I wonder if it's the same guy?   But it went over well with the Fox news watching geriatric clientele.  You have to know your audience I guess.

Miss Buxley! Do we have an entertainer lined up for that event in six months?

Not yet, sir.  I gave you a portfolio of options, and you haven't gotten back to me yet.

Oh, right...  Say, you know what?  Thurston at the club was telling me about a knee-slappingly good comedian he saw a while ago who did a really good Bill Clinton impression.  You know, the Clintons are back in the news right now, I just saw something on Fox today.  It would be good to have some topical comedy, instead of the ventriloquist mime we booked last year.  See if you can find that Clinton guy!

Yes, sir.  But may I make a suggestion?  Bill Clinton?  Isn't that a bit... dated?

Nonsense!  You young people just don't understand classic comedy!  Why, the Clintons are a masterpiece!  Most powerful man in the world is henpecked by his harpy wife, ugly daughter, blowjobs in the Oval Orifice, har har har.  It provided material for Rush Limbaugh and Jay Leno for YEARS.  And those guys are hilarious!

OK... You're the boss...

That I am, that I am...

Dude, Clinton is STILL a public figure! Heck, he was even on Fallon or Kimmel or something like that last week. It is still legitimate to be an impersonator as long as knowledge of the person is still common. Or are you also railing against all the Elvis, Marylin Monroe, Cher, Liza Minelli, Michael Jackson and Madonna impersonators?

I would also be annoyed if someone hired one of them with the expectation I would somehow be entertained, yes. Though those are at least cultural institutions for some stupid reason.

Going out on a limb here (and I DNRTFA), but depends on the community college.  The community college in my area is made up of about 50% traditional age students, and the other 50% being people returning to school after being laid off after 20-30 years in the work force.

Fair enough. I really just included that because realizing that you would have to be turning 22 this year, at the youngest, to have ever been alive at the same time as Reagan made me feel old.

Ignore everything about this. His date of death was changed from 2004 to 1994 in my head. Throw in some shoddy math and you get that pile of crap. I wanted it back as soon as I hit submit.

Any stand-up comic knows corporate gigs, you have to stay squeaky clean. Cleaner than a broadcast network sitcom.  You do everyday stuff people can relate to (traffic, dealing with kids/pets/relatives, weird co-worker stereotypes) or life events (say, planning a wedding).

You don't do politics, race, gender issues, religion.  Nothing controversial.  It's even cleaner than, say, a set you'd do at a retirement home (yup, done those, nothing like seeing all those oxygen tanks in the front row).

Either the booker screwed up (must be new at this), or he did a different set from what he auditioned with. Probably messed up and started doing material from his club set or the late show cruise ship show set.

Pretty stupid. Corporate gigs are the bread and butter of the comedy world - $3K-$10K a performance is pretty common (the higher end is for customized sets tailored to the audience/industry).
