I'll be honest. I clapped my hands and said "yes!" each time DBD won, and when Cesaro won. I sat in stunned silence for a second when UT lost, but I was ultimately OK with the streak ending because, good or bad, it was a moment.

GMJ & Jet's Post Farkamania Recap  (because we all love recaps!)

Photos and much more to come from us tonight, but here's a somewhat abridged version of our take from the weekend.  I could type for hours, but I'll try to hit the major points along the way.  :)

Axxess
For us, our main rationale for going was simply the autograph opportunities.  Obviously, families with kids made the most of the plethora of games, interactive experiences, and other stuff.  The older fans made a beeline from signing line to signing line, trying to stay one line ahead of the little jimmies, lol.

The talent that was there was definitely enjoying themselves, and many hammed it up for the crowd non-stop.  We got autographs from the following:

Pretty Ref/GM/Maddox -- Stef stalked this line immediately... said he was pretty cool with everyone in his line, chatted folks up a bit too.
Cesaro -- I did my patriotic duty and snagged an autograph here.  A bunch of French speaking people swung by the side of his booth to say something, and he responded in perfect French!  Guy is seriously laid back, and has a handshake like a vice-grip.  Really cool dude.
Paige -- Yep, I got Paiged!  A bunch of us queued in the NXT line, knowing she was headed there next, and we managed to be the first group to get her signature.  Even hotter than she looks on TV; frankly, jaw-droppingly gorgeous.  And that real British accent could melt the stage down.  She was awesome though - chatted up the fans a bit, especially the many British folks who were in line.
Aiden English & Mason Ryan -- These guys were at the NXT table with Paige.  Also nice guys, very talkative as well.  Aiden was very laid-back; Took me a second to recognize Mason with the new hairdo.
JR & Godfather -- Stef was near the front ofthe line for Ted DiBiase when he swapped out for Godfather and JR.  She said they were both cool, especially JR.   *Lulz Note -- I had to remind Stef that DiBiase really was the million $ man, and not the hundred $ man.  I blame a certain farker for her misunderstanding!  xD
Barrett -- Another score for me.  A shorter line for him, sadly, but very appreciate fans though.  He made it a point to fist bump the kids, hug the ladies, and be really cool all around.  His natural voice seems definitely not-British; again, a handshake like a vice-grip.  Really awesome guy though.
Roman -- Stef gets credit for this one.  She saw Roman jump into a signing session, when he wasn't even scheduled to appear.  she ran for the line, and stuck it out to the end; she was one of the last to get through.  Stef's report can be summed up thusly:

*fangirl squeal*
img2.wikia.nocookie.net

Overall, it was very well put together, and the 8am-noon session was busy, but not so much that you couldn't move around.  The only gripe we had was that you never really knew who was going to be at any one signing table.  No names were up when the session opened, so people just randomly queued at each table.  If the first person up wasn't someone that they wanted, a bit of a melee ensued as people tried to switch lines on the fly.  Also, the Convention Center is humongous - seriously.  As big as it was, Axxess only took up Hall I.  O_O

Hall of Fame
As we all know, this ran too long, and had some very, very boring moments (looking at you, T).  But, it was worth the time spent, and the speeches were worth hearing.  Jake's speech was especially moving.  Quite a few dusty eyes in the arena for him.  Got to credit DDP - without him, Roberts and Hall would probably be dead right now.

WM30
The crowd was hot, the Dome has never looked better, and it was rocking from bottom to top.  This was my second trip to the Superdome, and Stef's first.  You really can't appreciate how huge this thing is until you walk inside, trust me.

The sheer size made for some fun effects.  sustained chants would echo like crazy, amplifying the sound to brain-melting levels.  Other chants didn't make it all the way across, so at times each half of the dome was making different chants; the open space is so large, the other half couldn't hear what the first half was saying, lol.  Still, an awesome venue, and I hope they use it again!

As for the matches, I'll keep this brief:

Pre-show
--We the People is over as a gimmick, but it's really all for Cesaro, as he got 99% of the cheers for the team.  Everyone seemed to be only half-into it, waiting for it to go down to the RAs and the Usos.
--After that, a great match kicked off, with awesome spots galore.  Big pop for both teams, but folks were happy to see the Usos retain

DB-Triple B
--House Stark would be proud of HHH's entrance.  Very well done!  Surprised to see DB didn't get an elaborate entrance
--Huge pop for DB, as expected.  Crowd was all DB, all the way
--I'm no true aficianado, but I saw HHH work one of the most technical matches I've seen him work.  Many heave blows and big spots, but very technical in-between.  I think some of that was lost on the crowd, but I was surprised how technical they were able to make it.
--Loads of boos for Triple B after the post-match shenanigans.

Cena-Wyatt
--As expected, loads of boos for Cena.  Had to LMAO at the little kid next to us.  He had a Punk shirt on, and was chanting 'Cena Sucks' as loud as we were.  Hopefully, this is a sign of the future for the decline of LOLCena because merch sales
--Crowd was hot on Bray, and many chants broke out
--"That was freaky" chant broke out when Bray popped up into the inverted whatever it is that he does
--Loud boos for LOLCenaWins.  Kid next to us:  "God, again?  Can't he lose for once!"
--Yes, we sang "got the whole world in his hands" for Bray

Shield-Kane/NAO
--This match was over so quickly, I don't even know what happened to be honest.
--Stupid, sexy Roman  *Stef swoons again*
--Double power bomb was an awesome spot
--Shield is over as fark

Battle Royal
--Crazy Kofi save #100
--May not have made TV, but lots of Ziggler chants; boos for Limes and ADR, big time
--Genuine "holy crap" moment:  Cesaro picks up Show AND actually wins.  That was pure awesome

Taker-Jimmy Johns
--Seeing a Taker entrance live is a moment we'll never forget.  Spine-chilling to say the least
--Slow match, but we all expected as much
--Two seconds of stunned silence when Bork won, followed by more heat than Vickie built in 3+ years as a heel.  Whatever they did with the crowd mics, forget it.  Someone could have kicked Drew Brees in the balls and they still wouldn't get as many boos as Lesnar got.  The titantron went white for a minute after the 1-2-3, before a hasty 21-1 popped up.  Frankly, whatever booking plans they had for Lesnar went up in smoke, because the fans are likely past "heel heat", and into "X-Pac heat" mode.  IMO, Taker must have been drunk when he decided to give the rub to a part-timer who screams like a girl, sells fast-food sandwiches on his pants, and appears less than 5 times a year.

Divas Match
--Don't know what happened, as I was in line for the restroom, along with the rest of the Dome
--AJ won was a shocker; thought for sure it was burial time for her
--Fans spent most of the match booing Lesnar, chanting for Taker, or doing the above in the restroom

Main Event
--Orton was met by silence; Batista by an avalanche of boos.  He may as well have been wearing a Falcons' jersey, because that's how loud the boos were.
--Another huge pop for DB
--Crowd seriously on pins-and-needles the entire time
--CM Punk and Austin chants when HHH tried to interfere
--Yes, we sang "nananana, goodbye", when HHH "limped" to the back
--Insane pop for a DB win, especially by tap-out

Taker won't be there. Severe concussion. Bork won't either.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I come not to bury the Undertaker, but to mourn him. For you see, the Undertaker believed that he was immune to all forces. Well not even death is immune to Father Time, and last night Father Time reaped the Reaper, and he did it in the form of BROCK LESNAR."
