Western New England University?  Apparently they have an 80% accept rate, sounds like a quality school...

The internet will from her again.

Canning requested her parents continue paying for her school, pay her $650 a week in child support

Wow, I guess her father really was inappropriately affectionate.

Accidentally the whole internet?

Still waiting for the next story where she was banging the lawyer dad.

Would anyone here like to see her on the bang bus? What do you think those animals would do to that spoiled biatch?

2014-04-06 06:02:40 PM
They let her back in the house?  If one of my kids pulled crap like that I'd change the locks and the only support they'd get out of me after that would be a one way bus ticket to the Bakken oil fields.

I'm reminded of a quote:
There are shallow rollers, and there are deep rollers. You can't breed two deep rollers... or their young, their offspring, will roll all the way down... hit and die. Agent Starling is a deep roller. Let us hope one of her parents was not.

She doesn't sound like a "team player." No, more like a whistle blower or someone who doesn't "fit in with the culture." As someone who has been persecuted, I'm pretty sure her employment opportunities will be limited. It's one thing to sneak under the radar and now they HAVE to deal with you...quite another to show up with the glorious Internet resume this girl has.

Christ, after looking at the tuition cost, after tuition, room and board and books, that scholarship will only cover her first year. For that price and the fact it doesn't seem to be an elite school just a regular school academically, she should have gone to Rutgers.

What a horrible, spoiled little girl.

If I were her father, I would have told her good luck and been done with her. Maybe if she grew up and called and apologized in a few years I would have contact with her. Otherwise, she would be on her own permanently.

My parents, like all parents, made plenty of mistakes. But I also realize they are/were human and did the best they knew how. I've made it into my late 40's with a bit of baggage, but probably not any more than most. Guess what? I'm not suing my parents. I realize they loved me and tried their best.

Also, I agree with one of the above posters. I will bet you a weeks pay she was banging her friend's lawyer dad.

By the time she spits out an outdated prom piece, she'll probably be on her 2nd marriage, and the "Close ups" are out of focus to try to conceal the stretch marks from the kiddie cannon. You know it's true. You'll be disgusted, but unable to look away.

I'm actually thinking it'll start before that, I wonder if a professor can opt to not teach a student, "No way, I saw what she did to her parents over such trivial teenage bullshiat, I don't want to be sued for giving her mediocre paper a C.  Get someone else to teach her."

I'm actually surprised a school accepted her, I guess they didn't connect her name to this story.

I looked the school up. It will cover her first year of tuition, room and board and probably books. Good thing her parents have a college fund for her. The funny thing is that the school doesn't seem to have the academic prowess to command that type of money. Academically it seems to be on the same footing as your academically mid ranged state schools.

Its one of the more popular careers that Software Developers switch into to avoid anyone realizing they really suck at technology or are just shiatty to work with in general.  They basically wander from convention to convention professing the merits of some company's new buzzword 'y' tech and in some cases like Adria Richards they take any opportunity they can to publicly victimize themselves at the expense of who ever's comment was unfortunately in ear shot and she could twist to come off as aggressive.

So, your parents made mistakes and you love and forgive them.  That's why a 17 year old, the pinnacle of human intelligence and wisdom, should be sledgehammered financially, most likely damaging her for the rest of her life.

It sounded like the $56K is over 4 years at a school that costs about $45K per year, so even with student loans it's not close to covering the cost.  She's still going to need mom and dad to write her a big assed check each year because from a FAFSA perspective I'm sure the only aid she qualifies is a small student loan.

I don't see mom and dad being all that willing to cut her a $20K+ check each year at this point.

2014-04-06 06:38:34 PM
56k/ 4 years (The maximum merit scholarship is 66k over all 4 years, so we know she isn't getting 224k)= 14k a year

So she's getting 14k a year... that's nice... now lets look at the costs from WNE's webpage

Tuition:                                                (ARTS)           (ENGINEERING)
 (12-17 credit hours per term)           *$31,200          *$32,606
Student Activities Fee:                               300                  300
Comprehensive Services Fee:                  1,966 _____    1,966
Total:                                                      33,466            34,872

Residence Fee
Room & Board                                      ** 12,688____ ** 12,688
Tota                                                     l$46,154           $47,560

Health Insurance Fee  (subject to waiver)$2,210             $2,210

... so she's getting 14k a year... and she needs to make another 32-34k a year... I think she's about to get a nice little education in the cost of higher education and how scam-scholarships work.

On the other hand, if you can do it, it's a pretty fun lifestyle for a young unattached person.  If you've got a wife and kids though, spending 40 weeks a year in a hotel just doesn't have the glamour you'd think it would.

/I know a few software evangelists.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say her parents have a 529 plan set up for her and don't want to suddenly get incredibly large penalties.
