According to Forbes, TrumpTM is worth $3.9B. El Cubaño, $2.6B. So, while 2/3 is *technically* a fraction, when we're talking about net worths (and fraction) this large it's acedemic.

Is Cuban goading Trump to buy the Bills to bankrupt the Donald?

It's not cool to bully a man who has a serious mental illness.

Yes, but that's the Forbes information. I'm sure Trump was using his own information about his net worth, which would increase the number somewhat. Possibly to more USD than actually exists.

A friend of mine's a Bills fan.  Poor bastard.  Trump buying the team may be the straw that breaks that particular camel's back.

/not that I think it's going to happen, mind
//might be better to put him out of his misery, though
///this from a Raiders fan, though

Bills fan. Would not be if Trump bought them.

Doubt there is enough publicity in owning the Bills to entice Trump into buying them. This is almost certainly just a plea for attention.

Man, I had completely missed that Ralph Wilson died... Damn 80 hour work weeks.

The NFL already rejected Trump once, so he then bought the NY/NJ Generals.  After running that league into the ground as a result, I doubt the NFL would want to give him a second thought.

If they do, however, then Cuban's prediction of the NFL collapsing in 10 years might be realized.

Trump offers no value to the NFL. Goodell would laugh him out of the room in a heartbeat.

Trump won't buy- but don't you dare goad him, Cuban. If Trump bought them, it would be a dagger in my heart for the Bills.

I think Trump realizes if he so much as makes an offer, Herschel Walker will stomp him a new mud hole.

after Jimmy Haslam, i wouldn't put anything beyond Goodell

that said, yeah i feel bad for the Bills fans, my brother in law's family are all lifelong bills fans, i would sooner see the team i cheer for disappear than for that fanbase to go through Trump buying them

This. I thought it would be a slam against mid-table soccer clubs

Walker should do it anyway, and bang Trump's wife & put the video on xHamster.

Trump is toxic. He is a joke. Pretty much everyone views him as such. He would do nothing to help the league. At best he could promise to keep the team in Buffalo.

Is there any word of someone with achance of keeping the team in Buffalo? I know for years their move has been widely considered a forgone conclusion.

Unless he has a lot of dirt on a lot of owners it isn't happening.

The $400 million poison pill will keep them in Orchard Park for another few years.

There are two groups who could be trusted to keep the Bills in western NY: B. Thomas Golisano, and a consortium of businessmen and ex-players headed by Jim Kelly.

Unfortunately, Jim isn't doing so well right now.

The other 31 owners would not allow Trump in.  The Raiders might vote yes, but Davis would be channeling his father just to spite Goodell.

On the one hand, Trump is so obsessed with his name brand that he would never put up with a team not making the playoffs for 14 years, so it stands to reason that the team would actually improve.

On the other hand... Donald Trump.

/Also get ready for the Las Vegas Bills.

He has cancer, but he was just at the Knicks game.

Vegas can't take an NFL team, it would break sports books' fat profits every fall. Adelson would never allow it.

Not sure I follow. How would having a professional sports team in the city prevent people from making bets? Also, how could Adelson prevent the NFL from moving there? Isn't he just a gambling lobbyist?

I thought there were laws in place in nevada preventing bookmaking on local professional events, that's why there's no horse or dog track there, or any pro teams.

Pretty sure that isn't true. It is just that the leagues don't want to be associated with gambling. One condition to have the NBA All-Star game in Vegas was bookies agreeing not to take bets on it.

Well, isn't that just *precious*?
