gja: I wonder if subby has a freaking clue at all? Tea predates coffee so far back it's silly.IIRC tea started around 2327 BC, coffee around 9th century AD.
Tom_Slick: Tea is popular because we all secretly yearn to be British Supervillians French starship captains.
Grumpy Cat: Three cheers for tea. Down with coffee!
Wyalt Derp: I love tea and I love coffee. But not mixed together - that would be disgusting.
ruta: The women I saw at a recent get-together passing around tins of David's Tea and gushing about the smell and taste were the last people I would call "hipsters". Doctor Oz or Oprah or somebody must have recently endorsed it.Black tea has certainly been around for ages, but I think what has taken off in the last decade is fruited up blends with some tea leaves somewhere in the mix. David's Tea, from what I can see/smell, isn't so much "tea" as "potpourri".
Comsamvimes: Tom_Slick: Tea is popular because we all secretly yearn to be British Supervillians French starship captains.FTFM./Earl Grey is surprisingly good
UNAUTHORIZED FINGER: It's very popular down on the reservation now, also. I knew an Indian who drank 50 gallons of tea. He drowned in his tea-pee.
