Don't they know that they're better off not having any association with their business?

Do they still do the Polka in Milwaukee?

FTFA: "The beer [PBR], with its pale gold color and light, fizzy taste, has become especially popular over the last decade among urban hipsters, in part because it's one of the cheapest on the market."

Uh, "urban hipsters" don't give a rat's patoot about the price.  They started off by drinking it ironically because it was known as a shiat beer, and now they've turned the tables on themselves upon discovering it's not so bad.

Exactly. People keep drinking it because it's the best tasting of all the beer at that price point (e.g. Natty, Keystone, Busch, High Life, Milwaukee's Best). I would also say that for taste it ties with Narragansett but that's only widely available in more of the East U.S. (I think)

Hopefully if it does come back it will have real management, not the b-tards that ran it here, cut off the retirees from their benefits, etc. I do think it was great of a Miller/coots to refuse to negotiate with past until the company paid what it owed into the brewer's retirement funds.

The new Narragasent is actually pretty good. Really good for the price point and it's for cheaps at trader joes. They changed the formula after the relaunch.

I like PBR, but hate the hangovers.

As someone who lives in Brooklyn and has to deal with the prices for whatever popular ultra hopped neckbeard special IPA in bars and bodegas around here, the price is a very big issue as to why PBR is drank when I wanna go on a long drinking session.

Even if you aren't going to bars, its:

PBR - $6 for 6 16 ounce beers
Six Point - $12 for 4 16 ounce beers
Random Six pack x - $10-12 for 6 12 ounce beers
