I've been to this park before, this photo doesn't even begin to do it justice. Picture your average, ordinary downtown city park but swap out the squirrels for iguanas and you're getting close to the idea. They're farking everywhere, lounging in the sun, crawling on park benches, hanging out in trees. It freaks you out because at first you don't really see them, then you see one, then another, and then you realize you're farking surrounded by hundreds of them. All of them chilling while the Guayaquileños go about their business as if it's the most normal thing in the world (which to them, it kinda is.)

Oddly reminiscent of the hotel lobby scene in Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, without the blotter acid.
