Should A Woman Be Forced to Dress Her Age?

Tell me how that works out for ya.

why does anyone care? Dress how *you* feel comfortable - male or female.Anyone doesn't like it doesn't have to look at you. End of story.

There's a 50 year old woman in my office who dresses like a 20 year old. If only 20 year olds had that kind of body. Wow. If you can pull it off, go for it. The vast, overwhelming part of the population cannot.

Ironically, the topic of age appropriateness has come up a lot in my life lately.

That's not ironic.

"Should a woman be forced..."

It's like the Ted Bundy version of "I'm not a racist, but..."

Yeah, if you pose a question in the headline and force me to answer scrolling past the picture, I'm not even going to read the article.

Yes, because your age alone defines how you should behave in every way. Nailed it. Good work.

Women should dress for their figure, not their age. There are plenty of 45yo women who still look amazing in clubwear or tiny bikinis. And there are plenty of 19yo women who should hand out complimentary eye-bleach to anyone forced to look at them. Age and beauty are not intertwined.

The same question should be asked for weight.  Example, Yoga Pants.  They should not be manufactured past sizes above, say, 8.  I understand that the exact size is debatable.

But it is very disconcerting to see a whale of a woman waddling around after stuffing her 300lb gunt into yoga pants which clearly illustrate her vertical smile.  And take off your god damned pajama's when you leave the house!  No one want's to see you in your god damned sponge bob pajama pants at the grocery store.

Author of TFA states many of her friends are in or around their 30s so I assume author is as well. I suggest author is a bit older before she opines on the topic.

No, no one should not be forced to dress any particular way (outside of safety regulations in a hazardous work environment). However, there should be no expectation of approval from the rest of the human population with regards to how any particular person looks in their chosen attire.

2014-04-04 11:33:53 AM
Pretty much depends how hot they are

2014-04-04 11:33:56 AM
Wear whatever you want. It's your life not theirs.

Why should you care if other people recognize that you are lazy dumbass that decent people don't want to be near?

Forget dressing your age, stop the insane plastic surgery work that makes you look like some kind of wind tunnel tester freak.

But yoga pants should not come in xtra large sizes.
