My brain can't process that photo. Where was that slice cut from? How the heck is it being lifted that way with a fork?

In the event that
1. you used to like Tombstone's 30 years ago,
2. these days not so much, and
3. you live in Wisconsin,

you'll love these

I prefer this over pretty much any other "fresh" pizza in the DFW area.

If I'm going to eat a frozen pizza, it's because I want something that isn't trying to resemble a real pizza. I want something extra crappy, but delicious, like a Totino's Party Pizza with that weird sausage dust:

When you live in a college town, there's no excuse for eating frozen pizza.

2. The only way Celeste shows up on a list of the 11 best frozen pizzas is if there are only 11 kinds of frozen pizza.

I've eaten pizza you people wouldn't believe. Delivery cars on fire on the shoulder of the highway. I watched it's high beams glitter in the dark near Tannenbaum Gates apartments. All those calories will be lost in time, like beers after a frame. Time... for a... pie.

cards fan by association: I've never had a frozen pizza that was better than a Little Ceasar's Hot 'N Ready. Any of them worth eating are handily more expensive and require a larger time investment as well.

Little Ceasar's IS frozen pizza.

Well, not yours obviously. But there have been some good and even great suggestions in this thread. Not that you'll read them from your high horse.

Cut up some mushrooms, onions, olives and whatever and add it to a Tombstone with a little more cheese. Bake it till the crust is done, then broil it till the top is done.

DiGorno's are surprisingly good - their thin crust is especially good.

But I will admit...once in a while...my inner 8 year old demands....and gets...a cheapo totino's hamburger.  My tastebuds are happy for abut 3 minutes...and my stomach is pissed for 3 hours.

TerminalEchoes: jaylectricity: Celeste nullifies the validity of that list.

Seconded.

Thirded.  Totino's Party Pizzas are miles better than Celeste "pizzas", and Totino's are what I would call the low end of the edibility spectrum of pizza.  They are, however, the pizza most improved by being cooked on a Presto Pizzaz (or similar rotating pizza cooker device).

I did like that the testers pointed out that the sauce on Tombstone pizzas left them wanting.  That's my entire problem with Tombstone pizzas, but it's worse than just the sauce leaving me wanting: the sauce actually scares me.  You know how you can pour things on frozen pizzas before cooking to change the flavor a bit, like hot sauce?  Usually that flavor sinks into the pizza sauce, but now with Tombstone pizzas.  That pizza sauce is some kind of water-repulsing substance; NOTHING soaks into it.  Instead of the sauce tasting different, you taste the hot sauce, THEN the original pizza sauce separately.  And the pizza sauce is farking gross.

Oh yes, the list fails without this:

smalltownfoodsnobs.files.wordpress.com

Admittedly you have to have a Costco card to get them, but these things are among the tastiest frozen pizzas I've ever had.  I've had better - just about anything with rising crust will beat them - but they're the king of non-rising crust pizzas.

Also, if you happen to be in an area that has a Kroger-brand store (which is damn near the whole country):

s3.amazonaws.com

Way better than DiGiorno if you ask me.  And several bucks cheaper.

These brick oven ones are of the best frozen pizzas out there that I've tried.  Sadly my area is lacking in decent pizza places.  I'd rather spend $4-6 on this than pizza hut or something for $10 or other local places for $16..
