I love asking die hard Conservatives why the Cuban Embargo should still be in force.  They huff and puff and blather around before finally rendering a Deer in the Headlights look.

No we aren't. Thats why you're reading it on Uproxx.

"according to interviews and documents obtained by the AP"

Not even FOX "News" would come near this idiotic pile of shiat. But its funny how your knee jerk reaction was to accept it whole cloth despite the fact that they don't even claim to have any official sources let alone name them.

So there isn't still an Embargo on Cuba by the US. Good to know.

See whats really really funny is that he called us "Yanks" While there are some, I'm not familiar with all that many places that refer to us by that name. So I'm guessing he's British. Yes thats right from the very same Britain that held the world at the barrel of a gun for over two centuries and he wants to take to us to task over our nation's foreign policy.

because our messed up system of electing a president lets small localized communities who vote based on a single issue to potentially swing an entire state with a large number of electoral college votes if you don't pander the shiat out of their pet issue?

In a country with a tightly controlled internet where the people, how could we think that would work.  It's almost at as bad an idea as setting up fake profiles on popular Arab dating sites and arranging rebel meeting through the site.

I mean who would do such a thing and how could that possibly work to bring down a government?

I'm sorry, what?  Oh, I see.  I'll just leave this here.

A while back I heard there were only seven nations on the world left without being part of the global controlled network of central banks. The list had Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya on it then. Now I think it is down to Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Cuba.

Much in the same way as America getting all huffy and puffy about Putin in Ukraine/Crimea, after their far more recent Iraq debacle, I suppose.

You're quite correct that Britain may not have much of a moral high ground concerning foreign policy considering the whole world spanning empire thing, but that hardly means that the U.S. is in the 'right' on Cuba either.
