Why is it almost always obvious when someone's had plastic surgery? Hollywood folks should be able to afford the very best, but they all look the same... worse than before.

The 65-year-old rode in the exact Ford Mercury Cadillac from the infamous drag-racing scene in the cult 1978 film to mark the beginning of her 45 show residency at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.

Uh, what kind of car was that again?

Back during my Tower Video days we had a female employee who insisted "Grease" be played constantly when she was working. Since she had worked there longer than anyone else there was nothing we could do about it. Consequently I have a searing hatred for the movie.

If she were as lumpy and saggy and wrinkled as those sad old men next to her, people would wonder why she hadn't had a little nip-and-tuck done.

Is this one of those times where a word means the opposite of what I think it should mean? I used to know what cool was (and it wasn't Olivia Newton John, ABBA or Andy Gibb in stereo or even quadraphonic sound) So I can only assume it is like bed being good or sick and filthy being better? Don't laugh, I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm with isn't 'it' and what is 'it' seems weird and scary to me.

Wow...I listened to that slack-jawed. The sound is priceless.

I had a deprived childhood. I loved the disco era but I grew up in a household where ABBA was not allowed because all my older sibling were getting high listening to Arrowsmith. I got so tired of listening to that goddam Toys in the Attic that I broke the record over my knee. Needless to say this participated a brotherly brawl and my parents made me earn the money to buy a replacement. Do you know what it s like to be forced to earn the money to pay for one's torment? Oh, I had a hellish childhood. And do not get me started on Pink farking Floyd....may they burn in hell for all eternity.

She actually looked worse a few years ago - to the point where I wouldn't have known it was her without a caption. So her plastic surgery has either "settled into place" (is that a thing?) or another doctor went in and fixed some of the damage.

But I agree with what i think you're saying - she'd be more beautiful if she aged gracefully.

She doesn't?  She looks more like Joan Rivers now than like herself.  Looking at the pics in the link, I'd have no idea who that might be without captions.

Oh, I'll give you she doesn't look like a young, nubile Olivia Newton John or an old Olivia Newton John, but she isn't a surgery "victim" like some are claiming. She actually looks decent for 65. Not as good as Sophia Loren or Helen Mirren though, who would also " still get it".
