FTFA: Lubinski reminds people that "this house never killed anyone."

No, but if I recall correctly, Dahmer did make his first kill at that house. Then, at least according to him, once he'd disposed of the fleshy bits, he broke up the guys bones with a hammer and scattered them in the yard. So there would still be at least one of his victims mixed in with your beautiful lawn.

His father used to live near me when I was growing up. There's a local mall that everyone would go hang out at and I often wonder if Dahmer used to be there at the mall in the summers when he'd visit his dad. Were we at the same ice rink, the same Pup-A-Go-Go, the same arcade at the same times.......
Weird.

Roughly a third of the pictures showcased an absolutely amazing home stereo system that won't come with the sale.

Another third shows the geographical features not included with the home's land.

The final third show a house that doesn't look like it's had any updates since it was built in 1978.

That house isn't going to sell for $300,000. The Realtor will get a lot of free advertising though.

http://www.nytimes.com/1991/07/31/us/ bone-fragments-many-human-are-fou nd-at-suspect-s-ohio-home.html

FTFA:
After hours of combing through woods and underbrush, local officials today found more than 50 bone fragments, some of which may be the remains of Jeffrey L. Dahmer's first murder victim.
At a news conference this afternoon beside Mr. Dahmer's former home, where the fragments were recovered, the officials said they found pieces of skull, ribs and vertebrae that might belong to Steven M. Hicks, a 19-year-old Coventry Township man who disappeared on June 18, 1978.
The officials also said they found a "substantial quantity of blood" and a bloody handprint in the crawl space under Mr. Dahmer's former home in this small town northwest of Akron.

Yeah--I remember the whole circus when he was arrested.  It was a few weeks after I got married.  His old apartment building was later torn down, the chocolate factory where he worked relocated, and the cops who earlier let him go were exonerated* & rehired.

*The big secret back then, that was hidden from public view, was this--the police chief ordered beat cops to leave the gay community alone, at the gay advocates' request.  They were ordered to do what they did (let what was perceived as a gay-lovers' quarrel resolve itself behind closed doors), and then were made scapegoats.  When the headlines died down they were reinstated as the chief got the next train out of town and headed towards Tacoma.

I read the book his dad wrote. It was really goddamn sad. There is just no way to process something like what happened to him.

/Although I see that lots of Farkers were more than happy to do it for Adam Lanza's father.

Almost $300k for that place? Where does that Realtor think he is? Flori-duh?

Why do real estate photographers waste so much time photographing the current occupants' possessions? Surprised we didn't see the old standby "shower curtained bathtub with toilet beside it" photo. Maybe it clashed with the 70s-era pastel orange sinks.

This place has been on the market for several years now. They're not going to get $300K for it. They'd probably be better off turning it into a "Serial Killer Museum."

Did you notice the audio system in the house? WOW.

I will never forget listening to NPR interview his dad when the horrid details were coming out. He said they knew something was wrong when Jeffrey was growing up by the way he started by abusing animals, including the family dog:

"I will never forgive him for what he did to Fluffy."
